2. If you can hold on for a few days, free anonymous crisis counseling is available by e-mail from an international charity called Befrienders International (known in this country as The Samaritans). Send an e-mail to jo@samaritans.org and you will receive a caring response within 24 hours.

3. There is a website you may find helpful, called Suicide: Read This First.

I believe that God knows and feels our pain and hurt. He is the source of all love, and that includes 'tough love'. But tough love from God is still love from God. I, too, am dealing with a broken heart right now. I do believe in prayer and the power of prayer. I cannot explain it, but I have experienced answered prayer and comfort in prayer. This is so difficult for us now, but I pray for an answer for us.

I like to look to Jesus example of forgiveness and loving. His instruction to pray for those who would do us harm. Pray always and find people to pray with you in your town. There is only one to church of Christ and it is found, I believe, in the hearts of His people (though they may be in different religious settings or denominations).

Ask........Seek........It will be given.
My prayer:

Gracious and loving God, source of all comfort and love, architect of all the majesty we behold. Guide us and give us wisdom, strength, courage and patience as we try to understand the challenges you put before us. Help us to keep Jesus example in our hearts and minds as we struggle with the pain and battles of love in our life. We are truly thankful to have you with us and for the good things we can so easily loose sight of in our pain. Lord, have mercy on us who have broken hearts and illuminate the path you set before us with the light of your love. Stand by Roberta in her time of distress and hear the prayers of all the faithfull who cry out to you. You, truly, are our rock and redeemer. To God be the glory forever. Amen Amen

my name is norma,i know how you are feeling.i felt the same way you do when my mom passed away,i prayed for her to get well,but the LORD wanted to take her home,it really tore me up when she left me,i am now going to mental health,for manic depression.the LORD will help you too,just think possitive.my prayers are with you,take care of yourself,life is not worth hurting yourself,i wanted to go with my mother when she passed,and it is still hard on me.i cry every night for her to come back to me.i don't know you but my heart and love is with you.may GOD bless you and keep you from hurting anymore,i pray in JESUS name AMEN.
