2 month old baby boy with cmv, loss of hearing, and having Seizures.

im an 18 year old mother afraid and counting on God for his help and my faith that everything will be ok again someday. at 4 months along in my pregnancy (that was not planed) i found out that i had gotten a virous called CMV and that it was going to hurt my unborn baby. the doctor told me that i needed to abort my child, and that if i did keep him he would not even be able to swollow his own spit. well he was born november 14th 2001. he was 4lbs4oz 17 and 1/4in. long. he was in the hospital 2 weeks. we had lots of things we went through but at 1 month he was doing great. 1 week later there was a seizure and more were coming. 2 weeks ago we found out he had hearing loss in both ears (more in the left). we are going to have an EEG done in memphis in a few days and i pray that God will be with us every step of the way. maybe God will see it fit to heal my baby boy even more.

	Pearl614 6/14/2002 16:38	Dear Lord, Help this mother and her child. I know what it's like to have seizures. Love in Christ, Pearl P.S. Tip for you: Have you tried teaching your child Sign Language? I have seizures (ever since January 1998)and I was tought sign language because of my seizures. When I can't speak verbally I can find someone (usually a Christian) who can sign. I tell them "pray" in sign language. Hope this helps! Pearl614
