may the lord give us the strength to protect his creation

I am a volunteer at an animal rescue shelter. Weekly I see what humans do to animals.

Lord, please protect these little creatures who are defenceless and need our love and care.

Great Mother, take care of our fourlegged companions. We are not here to dominate them. We are here on this great planet to take care of them. Let us not take away more of their environment but be mindful of their spaces. Let all of us find compassion in our hearts as not to exploit any living being. By extending kindness to animals, I hope we will learn to extend kindness to our own race.

Please send all your good energy to my cat, Louise. She is ill and we won't know what's wrong until tomorrow. The vet pulled blood today to do an entire panel. She is tortoise shell, longhaired and eight years old. I'm hoping she's just anemic.

Angels, please protect my cat and help me to get her healed.

May all the gods and goddess of love and compassion alievate the suffering of the innocent.

Please help the poor little animals that humans are so cruel too. HElp those who cannot speak for themselves be strong and have people respect them for being creatures of GOD. Amen. Let all live in your peace.

COuld I please ask everyone to pray for our dog(family member) who is extremely ill. Recently having been diagnosed with cancer in her lungs, she is failing rapidly.She has given our family so much love in the past 10 years, it is so painful to see her like this. We have been praying that it was an incorrect diagnosis, but it doesn't look good.If her being with us is not meant to be, I ask for the strength to know when it is her time to leave us, as I would never want to suffer. She has meant so much to us, my heart is broken. Please pray for her. Thank you.

I pray for all of our little friends, with four legs or fins or wings. May the blessed Mother Earth protect her beastiful children from those who would harm them.

Please save the unfortunate animals that do not have a voice to speak out. Free them from their cruelties and give them peace. Please direct the world to a kinder treatment of animals, and let them be known for their loyalty to us.

i've recently been to a chicken farm this week. i know a lot of people wouldn't think that of all the animals -CHICKENS would have a problem, but as all animals deserve a right to live in a comfortable atmosphere before dying, i feel that chickens as well have that right.
i live in kansas where a lot of animals are fattened up to be slaughtered. i'm not a vegetarian, but do praise the animals in my heart that i have eaten. these chickens in these coops are stuffed in fours - no place for them to comfortably lie down and rest while laying eggs. their feathers are all but gone and the environment they live in smells worse than an overflowing sewer system. i saw a poor chicken lying on the floor, obviously in pain from the blood covering its skin, and my heart just jumped into my throat.
in all my life, i've never seen such a discusting lifestyle to where farmers are such heartless beasts. i can't imagine that they feel remorse for them. after all - 'they are our food' and that 'us humans are at the top of the food chain'.
i've lived my life with so many animals and treated them with more respect than i do to my own self. just thinking about eating animals is almost making me want to become a vegetarian.
even though a lot of people would laugh at the phrase 'save the chickens', we must think of a way to atleast make them comfortable before dying like we humans do with each other. i pray that someone who has more guts than i do find a way to stop this unheartedly act.

Dear Lord, Take care of all the animals in the world. Stop the slaughter of whales, seal pups and all creatures that are hunted for their fur. Let these people look into the eyes of these animals and see your light in them and the sincere wish not to be harmed. Remember their eyes talk a thousand words. Listen to their voices.

Dear God/dess, After being made aware of animal suffering through my involvement with shelter work, I can never forget what I've seen. Don't let me grow cold to this problem. Please help people be more compassionate to the animals.

Dear Mother/Father God,

Please protect the silent, defenseless little ones from the smallest mouse to the largest whale. They need You. Please help we humans to understand that Your love extends to all and that we should respect the life in all beings.

Please send Your love to all of the poor, abandoned animals in shelters. Please let them find good homes before more room must be made for others by euthanization.

Please educate the people that spaying and neutering their pets is necessary unless they intend to breed them and find loving homes for each and every babe born.

Please find humane living conditions for the animals we raise as food and let people bless their spirits for the animal's sacrifice that we might live.

Send healing and love to all of our sick little fur-children that they might recover and return to perfect health.

For these things I pray, O Merciful Ones, or Better things.

Dear Friends,
I am hoping that you can pray for me, or include a prayer for me in a prayer-circle.
I am a recovering alcoholic and drug-user (clean and sober for 5 years!) and I also suffer from depression, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive behavior. The only thing that has kept me from coming apart has been God's grace, the love of my family, and the love of two gentle spirits, two dogs named Devo and Daisy.
Now Devo and Daisy may be taken away from me. Please pray for me that I am able to keep Devo and Daisy living with me, so that I can continue to love them and care for them. Please pray that they are not taken away from me.

Dear Lord,
Please help all the lonely, betrayed, abused, and suffering animals. Please let these wonderful creatures lead a beautiful, healthy life. Please fill the hearts of man with love and compassion, so we will not treat them poorly. Please keep the captured animals in the zoos and circuses safe, and happy although they are not in their natural habitat. Please show hunters, abusive people, and those that just do not care that animals are pure, wonderful souls who choose not to hurt us, even though we might hurt them. I pray for all my animals; Toby, Bobby, Fievel, Oliver, and all my fish and frogs, and I pray that you keep them healthy and happy. I also pray that I will be successful in my endevour to become a veterinarian; I only hope I can give animals back a fraction of what they have given me. I humbly ask that you watch over our friends Devo and Daisy, and let them stay companion to one whom really needs them. Lastly, I pray for our friend Jeff. Please watch over him and keep him safe; please show him your undying Love and Compassion, and always keep him with you. Glory to God, Amen.

To truth seeker, who saw deplorable conditions at a chicken farm: have you tried reporting the farm to the Humane Society? I don't know if there's anything they can do but it's worth a try.
Also, will everyone please pray for my cat Boots? I'm taking her in Jan. 16 to have a lump on her eyelid checked out. I pray that it's just a blocked gland, but she had cancer on her tongue 6 years ago & THANK GOD there's been no recurrence, but now I'm terrified anytime I have to take her to the vet. I'll keep all of you in my prayers, I know just how you feel, my 2 cats are just like my kids to me.

I pray that eventually people realize that ALL creatures are children of god!
That we all deserve respect and dignity.
Please let humans SEE animals and not treat them like objects.

I pray that all animals in pain, may be comforted by your hand. That they may die as peacefully as possible.

That all strays may find homes, and those that don't to die mercifully.

People used to treat other people the same way, like the slaves!!!

Thank you for letting mankind see the error of their ways, let us progress to see how wrong it is to torture/ignore

You know who I am, for I pray for your animal children very often. Since I was about 4 I knew there was going to be some way for me to be involved in helping and caring for the defenseless animals. I have worked many years with them, and have seen some heartbreaking things. I pray that suffering and fear be eliminated in any way possible. I pray that all your animal spirits have shelter, food, and the most cherished of all~~~LOVE

Lord, I believe It is Your will that I minister to Your creatures for You have sent me so many homeless ones and so many in need. Show me the way to best serve these precious creatures and give me the strength to carry out Your will.

There is nothing like the trauma and grief you are going through I have been through it twice with my dogs. Take heart that your dog feels your love and is comforted by it. Do not be afraid to let go if you have too. She needs to know it is alright. She is in God's hands. God Bless you both
