Prayer for the Overweight

Many people suffer from extreme obesity linked to eating disorders, affecting health and happiness. This prayer circle is for all those who would like to let God control their eating habits to His glory.

Our Heavenly Father,
There are those of us who seek to glorify You in every aspect of our lives. Sometimes we lose focus in one or more areas, leading to pain, unhappiness, and disharmony with Your will. Being dangerously obese with no visible way out can be a depressing situation, which can lead to increased over-eating and diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, stroke, cancers, and disabling arthritis. We pray, Father, that you would give spiritual quidance to those of us who seem to be trapped in this unhappy situation. We confess our sin of gluttony, and ask you to take this burden from us. Give us motivation, peace, direction, and most of all Your overwhelming love to help us break the chains of slavery to food. Comfort the downhearted, and place us in paths of righteousness for Your Name's sake. Amen

I HAVE BEEN OBESE FOR YEARS AND SINCE I FINALLY DECIDED TO FORGIVE MYSELF AND ASK THE LORD FOR HELP WITH PRAYER FOR STRENGTH DID I FINALLY GET THE HELP I NEEDED FROM WITHIN. PRAY FOR ALL THE STRENGTH YOU CAN GET AND ASK FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT FROM OUR DEAR LORD, HE WILL HELP YOU BREAK YOUR TEMPTATION FOR OUR DRUG [FOOD]. I PRAY FOR ALL THE OBESE PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD WHO CANT SEEM TO FIND THEIR INNER STRENGTH. YOU WILL FIND IT JUST PRAY AND YOU WILL RECIEVE YOUR ANSWER. SALLY
