My dad & his sister recently had a fight & have quit speaking to each other. My cousins & I are very close & we don't want our family torn apart. Could you please pray that things will soon be straightened out? Thanks!

Didnt know where to turn-but I believe that God is my only hope. My mother works very hard and doesnt get the help she deserves from my unemployed father. He seems oblivious to expenses of everyday life and puts forth no effort whatsoever to help out my mother. To add more stress to their relationship, my grandmother is living with them and only makes matters worse, as she seems clueless as to what my parents are going through. Please God, help my father analyze things better, take his blindfold off, since that is what seems to keep from seeing how much my mother is suffering right now. I hope that You will guide him to the right path, and that he become more considerate of his wife and not become so preoccupied with his aging mother, that he is unfocused of the issues that he needs to take care of first. His wife, not his mother should be his main concern, as I pray that a family member soon takes her to be with them-my parents need to have time to each other without someone to keep budding in as she is good at doing. Please God, be with my mother and father, who desperately needs your guidance.

I am a single mother of 2 boys.15 &12. I am diabled having only SSI. to live on.Im having terriable financial difficulties. Im going to college,its starting to be to hard to focus. I cant pay my bills.Everything is due to get shut off or reposessed. Im feeling very depressed and alone. Need a father for my kids.And a husband to help me. And I feel as if God cant hear my prayers. Please pray for me.........

Dear Friends,
I am hoping that you can pray for me, or include a prayer for me in a prayer-circle.
I am a recovering alcoholic and drug-user (clean and sober for 5 years!) and I also suffer from depression, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive behavior. The only thing that has kept me from coming apart has been God's grace, the love of my family, and the love of two gentle spirits, two dogs named Devo and Daisy.
Now Devo and Daisy may be taken away from me. Please pray for me that I am able to keep Devo and Daisy living with me, so that I can continue to love them and care for them. Please pray that they are not taken away from me.

I placed a request for prayers for my son on belief net early in March. To date no one has written an entry for him. We are currently awaiting a ruling from the appeals court on his conviction for involuntary manslaughter. This charge was levied against him because he was the driver of an SUV that flipped and rolled three times. My son was paralyzed from the waist down and his best friend died five hours later. The tire blew on my sons car. He was travelling 41 in a 35 zone. He had crossed a double yellow line to allow an irractic driver who was behind him the room to go around him. Therefore according to the law, he had committed two misdemeanor offenses which led to a death. My son has no memory of that night. He was not charged for fourteen and a half months. At that point his car had been destroyed, the road repaved and various other means of defending him had been lost. I realize a rational person would think all this would get thrown out of court due to its absolute unbelievability. I once thought that too.
Even if you feel you are receiving a one sided account I'm am asking your prayers. My son suffers with the paralysis and the knowledge that his Jules is gone. My son was a 24 year old school teacher. He had no record. The courts have sentenced him to three years. In a prison. They do not want him held in a jail, the county would be responsible for his bills. IF he is in a state prison the state is responsible. This nightmare has gone on and on. Roy is suicidal. The appeal hearing was on Feb. 8th. The answer should have been in within four to six weeks. Last Thursday it had been seven weeks.
There is no doubt that my son was driving. No doubt that forty one is over the speed limit. But he will never walk again. He cannot return to teaching because with a felony conviction he cannot hold a teaching lisence. He had only taught four years. He now holds a job at an insurance company. If the conviction stands he will lose that also. He has fought hard to stay self supportive. Until you have lived with him or watched his daily struggles you will not understand what a rough life he lives. He attends church and believes in God. My prayer is that God will deliver him from this conviction and remain in his life. To say we are scared would be an understatement. Please pray for him or help me get someone to pray for him. Please pray for a safe surgery and speedy recovery for MaryAlice Crowley. Surgery is sched for 05 June 01.

I'm 21 years old and I need direction in my life. I'm having a hard time figuring out what I want to do with my life. I've been very insecure with myself since I gave birth to my daughter last year. I need a sense of belonging in this world. God please help me find my place and help me to make differences in people's lives. Please have me in your prayers.

I feel selfish when I ask for Gods help during this time when I think of all the people who have lost loved ones, with the terrorist attacks that have happened. Their needs are so much greater than mine. But I just feel so lost and alone right now and feel the need to ask for help. Times right now are really tough. Financial problems are over welming us. We are well over $100,000 in debt. We stand to lose evrything. We can't even pay our immediate bills, such as utilities and so forth. My daughter, who is 18 and trying to go to college has no money also. She is having a very hard time, worrying about everything. So young to have all these worries. My husband who is an alcoholic has basically given up on life and can't seem to stand me any more. It would be so nice to have his love again. He has a disease he can't control and I love him so much and want him well. It's hard to face your problems and resolve them when you feel you are fighting everything alone. I just feel that I am at the end of my rope. I know that God loves me and that things happen for a reason. Please pray for me and my family. I realize that there are those of you who are going thru troubling times also and my prayers are with all of you. God Bless.

My brothers and sisters in christ. Please pray for my husband as he gets ready to take his afoqt test. He has been an enlisted member of the USAF and is now getting ready to receive his bachelors degree. He will be applying for OTS(officer training school) in May and we should hear the outcome in the beginning of July. Please help me pray for a positive outcome as he has worked so hard to achieve this goal. He has been a wonderful husband for 9 years and a loving father. He doesn't ask for much as is starting to learn of Christ and is going to a Baptist University. He wasn't raised in a religious home and is unsure how to pray. And although I was raised in a religios home where we went to church each Sunday etc. I believe that this is greater than me and would appreciate anyone who can spare a few minutes for a quick prayer that he will be accepted into this program. My beautiful nineteen year-old nephew passed away on April 26, 2002, from injurires he sustained in an automobile accident. My family has never experienced the death of a close family member, and we feel like we are dying inside. Please pray for my family during this time of great suffering. Please pray for my beloved nephew, Phillip Matthew Mclaughlin, that he has found eternal peace. Please pray for us, that we may know that we will be together again for all eternity, and that although physically he is gone from us, he is very much alive in our hearts, minds, and souls. My daughter is 20 and undergoing peer pressure and she is becoming a follower and hanging with the worong crowd of people who use drugs and alcohol. Please lord build her up, build up her self love and self respect, make her have a stronger relationship with her dad who does not live with us and a stonger bond with you Lord. I only want the best for her. And my little boy who is 6 who is truly a blessing from God who has vision problems that can't be corrected by the doctors who have degrees in medicine but I know God is the true doctor of all and can heal my son! I want to lift up a group I just created on the international site meetup, called Sometimes Shy or Procrastinating Churgoers:). Its location is in Birmingham, Al. I created it for people like me who really have trouble going to church unless attending with someone else. I have one other member now, and I trust it will grow, but I don't know how fast, or slow ha. I lift up how I feel about the rate of growth, participation, and how much time to put into promoting it. I also lift up everyone like me outside of Birmingham who don't yet have this support option. I lift up all in Birmingham trying to get to church.
