This world is one of your greatest works of art. How I weep when I see it being torn apart by war, hatred, violence, and wrath.

Creator God, you gave us hope through Jesus Christ. He gave us the words "Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." Let us live with that hope everyday.

Source of Being, bring the life-giving power of the Spirit in the world. Let weapons turn into plowshares and hatred into love. Let war perish and may peace prevail.

Loving and Holy One, I bring my wishes of a peaceful new year. I ask that love as expressed through our Lord Jesus Christ be a driving force.

I pray for your guidance and strength during our time of great need. As we enter the new year with anticipation, grant us Your mercy and grace.

Out of the greatest evil, only You o Lord can bring about the most profound good. Strengthen our faith and hope for the future, a future of peace and justice for all Your children.

Dear God Our Savoir, I thank you so much for a great year inspite of what happened 911 & the bad times I had this year. I thank you God for letting me get this far. I do pray for our country that I love so much. I do pray that you keep us safe out of harms way.love us unconditionally my father. I pray that we have a better 02 then we did this year. I pray for love, peace, friendships & more of us working together than against each other. I pray that we will help each other out in whatever we need help in. That the President & his people come to you in prayer & ask you to help them with bin laden & his people. I pray that we will see a great life with you. I pray that people who don't know you get to know you & also I pray that people that don't know that they don't have a life without you get to know that & soon. My father I love you so much more than I do our country. I thank you so much for making my life alot better then my life has ever been. Sometimes we must deal with people who are eager to bring us down. Like King David, let's do what God would have us do -- use restraint, and keep on doing good.

Our Heavenly Father
I pray the year 2002 will be a great year for families to come together and help each other achieve their dreams. I pray for the leaders of our country. I pray for my health. I have survived breast cancer treatments. I pray for everyone in general may they have peace. Amen.

Father in the name of Jesus Thank You for a wounderful Year 2001, and Thank you for a New Year 2002, Father I ask that you continue to bless my family and myself. Also Bless everyone that was effected by 9/11 Bless and given them strenght to have a postive attitude about life and to know that all things work for the good. As the year 2001 comes to a close, please help all those who have suffered a great deal this year esp on 9/11 to come to term with their pain and give them strength to move on with their lives together with their families. Bless them all, Lord, with your Peace, Love & Spiritual Strength.
Please bring Peace to this restless World and may people of all nations, religion & colour live in peace with one another. Drive out the evil that is causing war & strife. Dear God we thank you for the gift of this year for the opportunity to become closer to you. Despite the losses and the hardship, we were also presented with an amazing opportunity to bring your grace into our hearts. Let us learn from the obstacles that were brought into our consciousness. Almighty God, grant that 2002 may be a time of improved relations between people of all faiths, races, and traditions. Let improved and enhanced understanding of each other decrease humanity's tensions, hatreds, and terrorist actions.
I pray You will continue to hold my sister in the palm of Your loving hand as she continues to grieve for her beloved, lost on September 11 in New York. Give her strength and courage to settle into a comfortable new life in a new city and grant that she be served by compassionate individuals while she heals. Amen

Lord Jesus
You have promise us peace which passes all understanding. This is what we pray and long for in the coming year.

The year holds so much unknown to us but to you nothing is hidden. We therefore live in the assuarance that you are in control of happenings in the world.

Give us wisdom to number our days and to live lives worthy of our calling and be mindful of how our lives impact on others.

Fill our hearts with the desire to be honest, fair and just in all that we do in the coming year.

May you be pre-eminent in all that we do. We ask all these in Jesus mighty name with thanksgiving for all that happened to us in the previous year.

Oh Lord, these are violent and restless times. Please give us all strength and courage in our daily lives to go on to live another day. Please bless us all, every race, creed, culture, color, age, sex, and religious domination. Oh Lord, please bless all of your children, even the ones who have strayed away from your wonderous love. This year I thank-you for my beautiful and healthy niece who, as you know, graced our family with her soul on May 8th, 2001. In 2002, if not, in your own time please dear lord let their be peace, love, and joy. I ask this in your name. Amen.

Dear Lord, I come to in prayer to ask that you continue to strength our people who have seen some of the worst of times but have also seen the love and compassion that can come from us during our worst time. Lord may you continue to guide us in the way we should go. Let us see the light and continue to go forward. Help us to help those who need to know you and may we continue to learn what you desire from us and live by it.

I pray that we all know that you did not give us the spirit of fear, but the spirit to love and to move forward. 2001 was the worst year of most of our lives. However, we have come to understand that we are one people, one color, one race, one languge. We are United and we are America. We love America, our home and we love you Heavenly father. forget again, that you are the reason and you are the purpose. I face 2002 with great optimism. I believe this will be a better year for us all, because now we understand.
