Prayer Circles

God be with you, Herb. If you are still unemployed,let us share our testimonial with you: My husband, an accountant, was fired from a lower paying job for refusing to do illegal things when the company was in bankrupcy. He was 50 years old, was given many interviews, but because of his age, companies always went with the younger guy. We had $30,000.00 in debts and $5,000.00 in the bank. It was gone in a few months. We also had a 15 year old son at home and several grandchildren needing help. I prayed every morning, every church service, every chance I had. I lost true faith many times, but I went on saying the words. It was all I knew to do, and real faith eventually would came back. My mother rents a modest cabin at a lake. One morning I went out to the lake and stood there casting my fishing pole, praying. The money in the bank was gone and unemployment combined with my pay would not cover the monthly payment on our debts. I did not ask God for a job that day. I just surrendered. I said, " Please take over all of this Lord, because I can't do this anymore." I didn't feel any different and I went on with my morning.
But 2:00 that day, my husband was left a message on his machine that a company in a near by city wanted to interview him. He called and they ask if he could come right in. He interviewed at 4:00 and was offered a job 6:00PM at twice his former. As you may be so painfully aware of, this is NEVER how hiring is done. You interview, reinterview, get the "we"ll let you know" deal, but it never goes like this. Except when God's in charge. May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ rest upon you during these horrid times. Your miracle awaits you, too. From Karen

Indeed, persevering in prayers, our Almighty Father through His only son, Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, has answered me. I just received a job offer from my former boss. Not only this. I also received another job offer from a former employer. God really works in mysterious ways. And His blessings are abundant and overflowing. I'm in a quandary which job to take. But really the Lord will direct me which path to take because I believe in Proverbs 3:5-6 which says "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths."
