I will pray that God will open your sons heart and mind to him. I have been there and I know if you become willing to let God come into your life he will take the addiction away from you. I will pray that Chris may become willing and accept Gods help. I also will keep you in my prayers as I know this is a very difficult time for you too.

The most important thing for your son to know is that you will always be supportive of him. Don't lose faith in you son's capabilities. Help him believe in himself. May God surround you both with his loving angels to help guide you through this most difficult time. Lord, please lead this family to others that may help them defeat the demons that are trying to win her son. Please fill his heart with hope and peace, and give him the strength he needs on this journey. Glory be to God!

Dear Heavenly Father,
Please take your son Chris into your arms and drive away the evil addiction that is controlling his mind & body.
Bless him with your strength - spiritual, mental & physical to fight his addiction so that he can return to his family as the happy loving son he was before. Bless Adrianne & her family with Peace, Love & Happiness. Strengthen her faith in You and may she never give up praying for her son's recovery. I ask that You, O Lord Jesus, will answer all our prayers for Chris L. Amen.

I am praying for you and your family as from my own experience with a child battling addictions I know that this is a painful time in your life and your family's. 16 years, it has been a Godsend. I think
if you have a computer you can use their
website to find a meeting in your area.

Al-Anon a try, you won't regret it.

I to have a son battling the diesease of addiction.I pray that your son as mine will find comfort,strength and guidance that will lead them to peace and victory over the demons that take over there mind and body with this retched disease. God we ask that you send down as many angels as possible to save our sons and heal them from this disease.Help them to take control and turn there lives around and to live the rest of there lives with your holy spirit in them and as there salvation.I to have spent many years in Al-Anon, it has been my saving grace and they helped me to save myself, my younger son is a recovering alcoholic and doing well at this time. I am a recovering alcoholic and there is always hope. I believe spirituality is a must. We cannot recover on will power alone. Whatever your perception of God may be, you must surrender to that power. I know that God reached down and took my addiction from me as surely as I know I sit here. There are no words that can describe the joy of the touch of the Lord. Please heed the advice of others and myself and seek out Al-Anon. Even for the alcoholic, it is a Godsend. It will be a big help to your son if you can attend and learn. My prayers are with you both.Thank you Saint Anthony for your prayers.

Dear Lord,
Please give this mother the patience and the understanding that you have a plan for Chris. You had it before he was formed in her belly. Give her peace and comfort in knowing that you do not make mistakes. You created Chris for a reason and it will be revealed. I speak peace upon this family. I ask that you block any thing that is not of you from Chris's path. That you make it undesireable to him. Protect his as you work with him. Keep him safe from ahrm and danger. In your Son, Jesus, Name, we declare a victory for Christ. A victory that he may go and proclaim to others what you have done for him. Amen

Chris's body, soul and spirit to the
will and purposes of God for his life.
I bind Chris's mind, will and emotions
to the will of God. I bind him to the truth and to the blood of Jesus. I bind Chris's mind to the mind of Christ, that the very thoughts, feelings and purposes of Christ's heart would be within his thoughts. I bind Chris's feet to the paths of righteousness, that his steps would be steady and sure. I bind Chris to the work of the cross with all of its mercy, grace, love, forgiveness and dying to self. I loose every old wrong pattern of thinking, attitude, idea, desire, belief, motivation, habit and behaviour from him. I tear down, crush, smash and destroy every stronghold associated with these things. I loose the stronghold in his life that has been justifying and protecting hard feelings against anyone. I loose the stronghold of unforgiveness, fear and distrust from him. Father, In the name of Jesus, I crush, smash and destroy generational bondages of any kind from mistakes made at any point between generations. I destroy them right here, right now. They will not bind and curse any more members of this family. I bind Chris to the overcoming behaviour and spiritual desires that line up with the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Father, I bind the strong man, Satan, that I may spoil his house, taking back every material and spiritual possession he has wrongfully taken from Chris. I loose the enemy's influence over evey part of his body, soul and spirit. I loose, crush, smash and destroy every evil device he may try to bring into his sphere of influence during this day, and the remaining days of Chris's life. Thank you Jesus, that you have promised whatsoever we bind and loose on earth will be bound and loosed in heaven. Thank you Lord, for the truth. Amen.

Sacred Heart of Jesus and St. Jude, Worker of Miracles, I pray to you to help Chris and his mother through this terrible and painful experience. I know from experience that pain of seeing your son going thru addiction. Please St. Jude shine your loving and bright light on these people who need your help and fill them with hope, love and healing. I too have a son with an alcohol dependency problem. He is a shy 15 year old who picked a destructive way to deal with the problems of adolescence. Let's pray together to God for his support and guidance for our sons and for our entire families. May we be blessed with strength to endure the many ups and downs of recovery. I will pray for you and your family. Addiction to anything is hard to beat . It can't be done alone. May your son be strong enough to ask for God's help. He will not turn him down. He can't do it alone. Through all of our prayers, let's encourage Chris to ask HIM for help.

Heavenly Father, Hear our prayers for Chris today as we life him up to you for healing and deliverance from drug addiction. We love him Father and we know You love him. Fill him with your Holy healing spirit and take all desire for drugs from him for now and forevermore. We will not give him up Father and we know you will not. In the name of Jesus, the Christ, all desire for drugs will be lifted from Chris in the name of Jesus Christ. They will no longer have any hold on him. Free him Father and make him whole in the name of Jesus. Thank you Father, in Jesus name.

Hi, I just want to let you know that I believe the healer of all infirmity is Jesus Christ, who is the same yesterday, today and always. Cast all your cares upon Him and he will sustain you throughout all that is to come.

Heavenly Father,
I pray for this family. I present them as the love you created them to be. In your Son's holy name I ask that you heal this family. You said that wherever two or more are gathered in Your name, that You would honor their prayers. I believe that Lord, and I ask that You extend Your loving hand over Chris and his mom and other family members at this time. I ask you Father to do the miracles that only You can do. I will continue to pray for you. I had a friend once who suffered with this. It hurt not only him, but his whole family as well. I pray for a wonderful new year, full of miracles that I know only the Lord can provide. God Bless you and your family!!!!!

My prayers are with you that Chris will seek the help that he needs to obtain recovery from his addiction. Being almost 17 years clean and sober I know the struggles one endures while under the power of addiction as well as the struggle one must go through to obtain recovery. Ultimately it is Chris who needs to make the choice to get sober. You can help him make that choice via an intervention. I too have a son that is struggling with addictions. Dear Lord we lift up to you Chris and Scot , be with them help them to overcome this disease. We pray for your strength, love and guidance to help these two young sons, so they may see the destruction that these habits can cause. We trust in you Oh Lord and thank you for your miracle of healing. Thank you Jesus. We love you Jesus and Bless your Holy name. Amen

My Dearest Sister, Adrianne, and My Godson, Chris, in Christ,
I love you as a child of God who has been through what Chris is going through, and also what you are going through as a Mother raising a child, loving that child, will give your life for this baby you raised and are still raising. When I review the circumstances, I deeply feel your pain. You want to hold him; you ask "where did I go wrong?"; What can I do to help him? Believe me, all these are right questions. My mom did the same for me when I was experiencing what the world had to offer. The one thing she never did was stop praying for me daily! She believed "Thy and thy household will be saved" This includes Chris! I have several children -- one 27 and one 34 --who are in the same position as Chris or even worse. God sees them all as His children. Sometimes he ALLOWS things to happen not only for our growth and strength, but to let our children see HIS PATH and follow HIS FOOTSTEPS!
Pray works, it changes things. Although it may not be instant and it may take years! But, remember, God's Word never comes back void! He will protect, guide, and bring about a change in your son, and my Godson -- Chris!

"Father, our stronghold and refuge, I pray for Chris, and leave him in your CAPABLE hands. I am weak, I am tired, But Lord, you are Mighty in strength. May your guardian angels hover over Chris morning, noon, and night! Protect him from harm. Most of all, Father, Let him see the true light, the true "High!" -- THE HOLY SPIRIT!
