i have a friend in the same situation and i offer my prayers for both tom and lisa to recover.

Lord let tom's body heal like mine has.
I was going to nursing school and I knew about the 3 hour timeline. Well, I was paralyzed on my left side. Because I got to the hospital within the first hour I was given the clot buster.

I go to stroke support groups to find out more information for my self being. I enjoy all the people who have been to the groups. I go to 2 different hospitals for these groups.
I am in therapy 2 days a week because I want to help myself. It hurts, but I have to do this. I have a just turned 13 year old daughter and she needs me.

She got mad one day and screamed at me and said why did this have to happen to you. My Neurosurgeon said he has never seen anyone live through what I did. It was intraceleberal on the inside by the brain stem. I have trouble walking, sometimes talking and lopsided. The best thing for me was laughter and a strong will . I guess I have always been stubborn.

I had alot of people praying for me and my aunt said I have a strong will. I replies oh you mean stubborn. She laughed. My family lives 8 hours away and when this happened Dad, who is not in good health wanted to drive that and Mom couldn't she is worst. Pray for my Mother so she can finally enter heaven.
