Growing up in a christian home, I was ready to meet Mr. Right. Mr.Right was very abusive and I ended up having four miscarriages in the five miserable years we were married. I divorced Mr. Right and have gone back to college to become a school teacher. I have met a young man who I think is wonderful. To be honest, I am so scared!!! I think he is too good to be true. He is also divorced and has three beautiful kids. I didn't have any children, but I am able to have children. I will treat his children as they were my own.. regardless of whether we have children or not. Help me, I'm scared. How do I love him completely when I have been so hurt?

First of all, You ARE a mother-for you have 4 wonderful perfectly happy children in heaven watching over you! They are so happy because they have God and each other. They wouold only want you to be happy here. It is only natural to have trust issues. I pray that you will do what God wants you to do-whether that is to wait and keep dating-or to move forward. When it comes to him, look at his children-do they seem abused in any way? How happy are they? May God give you the patience to work this out. Amen.
