May God continue to watch over you and your family and that the strenght of prayer lead to stronger will in resisting temptation and that your love for God becomes and remains stronger than the desire for alcohol

Please God let RJK see & understand what this problem is doing to himself & other that love him. Please keep temptation away from him & let the light of love & protection surround him & his family. Let the love for his loved ones prove stronger then his addiction. Amen

May God provide for RJK and my husband whatever it is they need to overcome this terrible, life-threatening disease. May the Light of the Holy Spirit shine down on them and guide them to sobriety.

May GOD look upon & bless our family members who have this problem, that them may overcome it. Please keep the enablers away, so thay may be strong, may their love for family members lt them overcome their dependency on substances. Dear HOLY FATHER hear & bless these families. I ask this in the name of YOUR SON JESUS CRIST. Amen

Dear God, please take the away the compulsion and obsession to drink away from RJK. Open his eyes so he can find the tools he need to overcome this disease. Let him see that he is Blessed and so very special. If it is in your will let it be done.Amen

Lord, heal RJK of his addiciton. Give him the strentgh and vision to oversome this affliciton. Let your love and mercy shine on him. Amen.

My sister is also an alcoholic and I know how hard this can be on a family

I, too, am an alcoholic. I have battled this disease, affliction, curse, for many years. I know how an alcoholic feels, as well as the effect it has on the loved ones. I am making it hour by hour, with prayer and love and support from my husband.
I have not advice: I just pray that God will help take the urges away, and put something in the heart, the mind, to replace that spot that alcohol has been filling. Take away those strong emotional ties, those periods of anxiety in which one feels they HAVE to drink to get rid of them, relieve the depression, the feelings of "being nothing and no one without the drink". Give a peace and contentment that does not come with the alcohol. Please take the "Creature in the Bottle" and dispose of him, forever. We thank you, Lord, for what you have done, and are going to do. In Jesus' name, Amen.

I too am a recovering Acholic. My god remove the craving from your life. May I share that gift that has been so freely given to me.

PLease God heal RJK and my husband of this terriable desease. You know we love them and would like to help them but all we can do is lift all who has this problem in prayer. Lord. Father, God Please take them in your arms and touch their hearts. Master you know how unhappy they are and what they are doing to their love ones and themselves. Let us continue to trust in you and let you handle this situation. Lord give us the patience we need. When you have healed them we will give you all of the honor and Glory in Jesus Name we pray. Dear God, I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, that you will bind the demon alcohol in RJK, and in each one mentioned above and also my husband. God You Blessed me with this wonderful man and Lord You Know his heart, and You know the demon alcohol. Destroy the demon in the Name of Jesus our Lord and Savior. Glory be to the Father. Give these suffering from alcohol, first the Knowledge that It does Have them, so they'll be strong enough to ask God for Help to remove the desires. 2nd to give them strength to resist temptation. 3rd Open their eyes to see and Know that God IS more powerful than Any THING, and they will KNOW that GOD is in Control of their lives to save to heal. Praise God from whom All Blessings Flow.

My husband is an alcoholic who refuses to believe that he is. He says it's "only beer", but more than a 6-pack every single day is excessive. He suffers from high blood pressure and attacks of gout. I've tried to appeal to him from a health standpoint, but he pays no attention. He has been a Christian since childhood, but I feel that he has seriously strayed. Please pray for us.

Please pray for me. I have been afflicted with severe migraines for 5 years now. Doctors have been able to help to some extent, but they can't pinpoint the cause. I am now working on "de-stressing" my life, per doctor's orders. Pray that God will help me and my family through this difficult time, as they are also affected. God bless you all!

My prayers our for all that alcohol affects--the world says it is OK, but the evidence of its destruction proves different. May each of you regain control of your life by calling on the Lord each day and by being an example to those that are too weak. He wants good to come from your life; allow Him to work through you daily and the desire to self-destruct will ebb away as you seek to serve others in need. Amen.

I pray for RJK and his family, my family suffers as well, for healing from this demon that consumes our lives. Those of us who don't use ask especially Lord for forebearance, and that you take away our bitterness and resentment. I know how engulfing addiction can be. It is only by hiding in the shadow of the Almighty have I been able to hold the family together thus far. My husband and I are now in recovery, and that has it's own set of problems. I pray that all of us that have been ruled by this disease for so long may recieve God's healing.

I also am an recovering alcoholic I know the power of that bottle. With the love of family,friends and prayer life will turn around. I will pray for him to show RJK the way like he has shown me. I am so blessed to have been given this chance to be able to share these thoughts and prayers to you.One day at a time will heal.

Higher Power, God, please guide anyone who needs help with alcoholism into the rooms of AA which you have provided. Show them/us that the only power over alcohol is You, that what conquers it is the program You gave us through the founders of AA...and thank you for the past 10 years of a meaningful life worth living, drug and alcohol free. Praise God!

Dear Lord, Heavenly Father, help RJK and all those who suffer from the illness of addiction. Please give them the strength they need to get help, and the strength to deal with their affliction. Let them experience Your love for them and that You're there for them to help them through. Amen

Lord, I pray for RJK and all others that suffer with this cunning killer. Alcohol took the life of one of my family members, over a long period of time. It is slow and extremely painful to all the loved ones as well. This disease is threatening to take another loved one, and I pray for him as well. Please reach into the hearts of RJK, and FAB, and deliver them forever from this demon. I ask for restoration of all relationships and quality of life for each person afflicted. Put it in their hearts to turn their lives over to you, (the only Higher Power). I have witnessed your miracles in deliverance with yet another family member, he has been sober 13 years! Fill all afflicted with your love! Amen.

God, grant us the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, the courage to accept the things we can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Lord God Jehovah I lift RJK and this terrible disease up you, wrap your arms around him, pull him close to you and take the desire to drink away from him. Touch him Father and heal him of this disease. THERE IS POWER IN PRAYER,So PRAY RJK, SEEK HIS FACE AND HIS GUIDANCE IN YOUR LIFE, just ask him for help, he will listen, when he speaks to your heart(and he will) you must listen and obey. Lord God bind this demon of alcohol from RJK and send him back to the pits of hell, I rebuke the hold alcohol has on his life in the name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. In Jesus holy name...Amen and Amen.
