My 9 yr old son who has ALL (leukemia)

We need all the prayers we can get to get through this!

My 9 yr old son was diagnosed with ALL 3/01. He has had Spinal taps & hospitalization (almost every 3 weeks-treatment)& 6 Bone Marrow tests.(Luckily, his leukemia does not require a Bone Marrow Transplant unless he relaspes.) Next week is week 32 of his protocol & we are waitng for the results from John Hopkins for the final OK that he is still cancer free. He still has 104 wks left of treatment. Before all this, Brandon played Travel Hockey, soccer, baseball & basketball. If all is good, Brandon can start playing sports again & being a kid. I love my son with all my heart & constantly fear that he will fall out of remission. I ask that you pray for my son's health & his spirit. He never lets this get him down, but I can see in his eyes that his spirit is not what it was. PLease pray for him & all sick children. Thank you all.

Pour your life giving spirit of love all thru his body God, and return any disorder back to the nothingness from which it came. Help him and his mother to focus on your grace, so that fear has no place and is no where to be seen. Help them to be grateful each day for the life in front of them in this moment. I trust you God to be the substance of love that is Brandon's body. I thank you for your grace which sustains us each day. Amen.

It seemd so hard for us to understand when a child is ill. However, we know Lord that you have a plan and an agenda for each and every one of us....and that you will not give us more than we can handle even when it absolutely seems that is Not the case. Please send your angels down to watch over Brandon, to help him heal and to continue to have the cancerous cells dissapate from his body. Please be with Brandon and his family phycologically through these uncertain times. Please send your Holy Spirit to work in their hearts and minds strengthening their love, patience, and drive to survive with this ailment. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit...Amen

	MankindsHelper 9/1/2003 14:40	My Loving Mom; I am so sorry for the heart ack and pain that Brandon and your family have gone through. We lost our 9 yr old in Jan 1999. I know how scared you have been, I will pray that the fear be lifted and replaced with faith. Please post up date. Eveywhere I look, I see children around, hear the running in the streets, hear the laughter, and I know he is there. In the hospitals I saw children around, heard the patter in the halls of the nurses running, heard the crying, I knew he was there. God was there for our yesterdays, and will be there for our tomorrows, it is just sometimes it is hard for us to be still enough to hear him. My love and prayers will be continued to be sent.
