I am starting this pray circle to request prayers for myself. I need prayers for a much needed surgery to be granted by my medical provider.

I am severely obese, 290 lbs and only 4 ft 11 inches. I want to have weight loss surgery. My doctor has referred me to the clinic for the surgery so I have cleared the first hurdle. I am asking for prayers so that the process to finally obtain the surgery goes smoothly and that I can have the surgery very soon. I am the sole support of my family now,my brother just died of obesity related issues and I am beginning to show symptoms of the same. I am in fairly good health now,except my weight, and want the surgery while I am still healthy to avoid complications. My knees and back are killing me, Im having trouble breathing and afraid my heart will fail like my brother's.
Please pray for me.....I've tried everything on my own and I can't lose the weight.

Help her to take the steps toward a healthy change in any habits that may inhibit her from releasing the excess her body is holding onto at this time. Give her the courage and trust that she CAN do it by taking baby steps. Open the doors for her God to be the woman you have called her to be from the womb. Help her to love herself where she is right now, the way she is, with all of the extra weight that is on her body - just as you do. Help her to value herself enough to re-place any unhealthy habits with ones which serve her better today. If there are old wounds that she is carrying, help her also to let those go now, too. I trust you to take her hand and walk beside her each step of the way and I believe in her and her ability to do what she makes up her mind to do. Please send her supportive human angels to lift her up, too God. Amen.

	mermaid14 4/4/2005 11:54	Dear Lord help this woman with all the problems she has in her life. Help her fight her battle with food which is a diffucult one that many, including myself, have problems with. Help her realize life is a special gift and she was blessed with children when so many who want them can't have them. Please have mercy on her and her family for a better, healthy, happy life. Thank You Lord
