My beloved daughter

This prayer request is a bit different than usual. I'm the one having surgery, but I am asking for prayers for my daughter.

I'm having surgery on 11/8/01 and I'm afraid. I have some health problems and I'm hoping to come through okay. My big fear though, is for my daughter. She is only 6 and has already suffered several big losses. Her father and I split up when she was 3 and he lives across the country. She "adopted" my older brother as a kind of surrogate dad and he died when she was 5. Just this past September, her paternal grandmother died, whom she also loved. Other than myself, the only close family that she has is my elderly mother who would be unable to care for her. Please pray for her and ask God to allow me to stay with her because she really needs me. Thank you.
