my wonderful son

Please pray for my son, Casey, who was killed in a car accident on September 10th, 2001, one day after his 24th birthday. He leaves behind his younger brother, Brian, who misses his brother so very much.

We lost our oldest son on May 25, 1997 at the age of 23. He died of an accidental drug overdose. His younger brothers, Casey and Brian were devastated but fought to move on and do the best they could missing their brother terribly. Our middle son, Casey, went on to graduate with honors from the University of Connecticut in 1999 and was thrilled to have a wonderful new job, loving family and many supportive friends. He was saving money for his own condo and was looking forward to reaping the rewards of all his hard work in college. He was also relieved to see how his younger brother, Brian, was getting on with his life and finally going off to college in September at the age of 19. He was on top of the world. He died in a car accident the day after his 24th birthday - September 10, 2001. Our world has been shattered once again. Please pray for us and our son, Brian, that he may be given God's love and strength to endure this pain. Thank you.

Dear Lord, I know that you are all compassionate and loving - please fill my son Brian's heart with hope and strength that he may continue on his path to peace. Help ease his pain and suffering at the loss of his brothers. Help him to feel your love and guidance as he struggles with his grief. Help him to see that life is a blessing and that he will be, one day, able to enjoy all your blessings again. Amen
