Loving mother, daughter, sister, niece battling lupus and cancer

Please pray for courage and strength for Gayle to fight and win her battle against breast cancer as she also deals with the pain associated with lupus.

For more than 15 years Gayle has lived with lupus. She has had hip replacement surgery, knee surgery and has had to deal with side effects from a host of powerful medications. Recently she was diagnosed with breast cancer and has undergone a radical masectomy plus reconstructive surgery. Biopsy of her lymph nodes revealed cancerous cells in 23 of 24 nodes removed. She will shortly begin chemotherapy and is discouraged and depressed. Many of her family members live a good distance from her which further makes her struggle even more difficult. As her loving aunt, I ask your prayers to help her through this painful time in her life.
