2 year old girl having brain surgery

Kaylee is one of a set of twins born prematurely. She has had multiple medical problems including what was believed to be a brain tumor. Surgery has revealed a more serious condition which the surgeons will attempt to correct next week.

It has been found that this child's brain is somehow protruding outside her skull. The tumor surgery was very delicate and risky because of the danger of injury to the optic nerve. However, the mass itself was beginning to press upon the optic nerve making blindness inevitable without the surgery. The pending surgery is ever so much more delicate as it involves entirely fragile brain tissue. It is uncertain even how much bebefit can be obtained. I have been one of Kaylee's nurses for the past several months. She is as sweet a spirit as one could ever hope to meet. Please join me in asking our Father in Heaven to be with this child and her parents through this ordeal. I pray that she may be healed if it is the will of God, and that she may have peace and freedom from pain and fear. She is deeply loved by all who know her. Let her feel and know the love that surrounds her.
