Prayer Circles

God I pray for Brian Appel that you would reveal to him the plans you have for his life. Help him to cast all his cares upon your broad shoulders and to take your yoke, which is light. Help him to see his place in the world as your son. Help his eyes to look at the blessings in his life all around him, and not dwell on anything that appears to be lack, for you have given us the abundance of this planet and all of the universe. I trust you God, to be the source of every need for Brian and I now place him in your hands. Amen.

Dear Brian:

I look back on my lonely times and wish I had dedicated more of my time in prayer. Try it. It works. Keep reaching out - answers may be around the next corner as long as you keep your spirits high and place your faith in God. Do not think you have all the answers but rely on God to carry you through your day. He will give you comfort and warmth. Please promise me you will do this! PLEASE - Write back and let me hear from you. Also, loeliness sometimes brings out our creative side - its a sign that God is working through you, do not fight the loneliness but let God work through you making something real wonderful as a byproduct of our difficulties!

Also, if the relationship is with your girl friend is destructive, do not hold on for fear of being alone - things will likely only worsten. But, if you love her then its worth while. Love her as a human being that graces your life but remember to respect your body and hers! Stop the sex... if thats happening. Sin in a life brings only darkens - maybe not immediately but it will, its inevitable... Seek the light - seek the high road, God will make your inner light shine brightly.

Did you know that the stars at night that twinkle within your view are created by the flickers of candle in angles hands as they sit peacefully in heaven admiring and praying for you... praying that you will be a man that makes this World a better place. ... so DO IT!

Brian, from the ancient age of 40, things look a whole lot better. Hang in there. If this depression hangs on for more than two weeks, seek a professional to help. I will be praying for you.

God of life and light, shine upon Brian, in his time of darknes, open the doors for life to him, set him free of all he ocnfesses to you, the wrongs he has committed and the hopes and longings of his heart. Father may the blessings of depression lead him where you would want him, to your glory... in Jesus name I pray. Amen
