God I thank you for the abundance you have graciously poured out onto this earth for all of your children. I ask that you would now open this couple's eyes to the blessings they currently have and help them to keep their eyes focused on these blessings, praising you daily for the very breath you give them each day. God I also ask that you would help them to give what it is they are feeling they may be lacking at this time. If it is support, help them to take a baby step toward supporting a neighbor or a person in their community. If they are feeling isolated, help them to reach out, trusting the hand to be there, when they reach out, for it is your hand, and it is your face in every stranger they encounter. Help them now, God, to see you in every face, and to see what you have so freely given your children. Amen. |
