All lost in the attack
To all those lost in such a vile attack

May this sonnet, dedicated to all those lost during last terrorist attack in America, bring relief to those in grief having lost their dear ones.

BENEATH THE ASHES

Ashes to ashes follow dust to dust,
In you my Lord deep faith I need to trust,
Missiles of terror shock ablaze strike deep,
Sadness, grief, sorrows pile in a heap.

Hot burning fire twin towers subside,
Beneath the anger none ever dare hide,
Agony and torment without relief,
Captive bondage faiths of our belief.

But in true spirit, muscle, force and might,
All brought together with hands held all tight,
To find the courage, nerve to overcome,
All plight and sorrow never to succumb.

In the name of justice of dear ones gone,
Hope in redemption and in brigher dawn.
