Rescue Workers, Government, Military Personnel, Relief Workers, Counselors, Clergy, Volunteers
All Those Helping in the Attacks' Aftermath

Add your prayers for those selfless people who have bravely taken on the job of helping others after Tuesday's atrocities.

Those who help need our help.

Police, fire, and emergency workers; Red Cross and other relief workers; government officials; our brave military personnel all over the world; psychologists and crisis counselors; and all other volunteers, including the thousands who have given their very blood -- all these fellow citizens need our prayerful thoughts in this extremely stressful time.

May we all heal and be complete. May we all live each day as heros.
May we all live for Peace.
May we follow the daily example of our amazing community heros, the Firefighters, the Police, the Medical staff, and daily show our gratitude to each other.
May our connection to each other be one of Peace, Love, Intelligence and Understanding.

Lord Christ, I ask you to watch over the rescue workers who are dedicated to saving lives, just as you were. I ask you to watch over those who are still with us, and reward them. As for those who have departed us, I ask you to bring them into your Divine Presence. Amen.

God we ask you to bless all of these wonderful people reaching out and going beyond their duties in their search for others. Give everyone involved strength to keep up their work, the knowledge they have made a difference and their remarakble patriotism. Give wise words to our clergy as they help bind our wounds and minister to all of our needs with your words of comfort and healing. Bless all of those who are able to donate blood and do so willingly. As we cry out for help hear our cries and help us heal our land. Be with the families and children as we all need special angels protecting us all while going through this tragedy. CF

The light of God surrounds us,
The love of God enfolds us,
The power of God protects us,
The presence of God watches over us.
Wherever we are, God is,
and all is well.

I pray for the emotional and physical well-being of all those who are dealing with this tragedy first-hand, and who are putting themselves aside to help others. Thank you, God, for their love and aid. Amen.

Dear Lord, please give strength and comfort to those whose cross it is to bear this load of working at the site of the attacks. For the rest of their lives they will have to live with what they have seen and smelled, give them your strength to bear this. Give them special blessings, they are truly heroes. You are all in my prayers now and forever. May God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit be with you, always.

You are only doing your job. Your humility is precious. Your work is so needed. Without you, civilization is not possible. Everything you need that we can give, we will provide. We never have paid you enough, but your reward comes from God. From the Holy Koran, " Not one of you but will pass over it: this is, with my Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished. But we shall save those who guarded against evil, and we will leave the wrong-doers therein, humbled to their knees....And God does advance in guidance those who seek Guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of their eventual returns...Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to God most Gracious as a servant. He does take an account of them all, and hath numbered them all exactly. And every one of them will come to Him, singly on the Day of Judgement. On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will God Most Gracious bestow Love." It would be hard to find a more righteous good deed than to run into danger to bring wounded people out.

09/20/01 21:47CST May God's blessings be upon the selfless persons who have worked so tirelessly to help bring healing through search and recovery. I pray Bod's blessings and healing of heart and soul to those who have lost loved ones in this most terrible tragedy. Bless the little children, Lord, who do not understand why Mommie or Daddy (maybe both) wont be coming home. Oh God,how our hearts break to see suffering, but to see suffering of those little ones is almost unbearable. Bless them, Lord. Heal their suffering and hurt. Let us as your servants do all we can to ease the suffering and hurt that so many persons feel right now. Help us to love each other more and more. Help us not to look at color, race, creed, whatever, but help us to see a human soul that your precious Son, Jesus Christ, died for. Please help those who are having a hard time trusting, to remember this little poem:

Trust Him when darkest fear assail thee;
Trust Him when thy faith is small;
Trust Him when to simply trust Him,
Is the hardest task of all.
From the Holy Bible, Proverbs Chpt.3, vs 5,6, 7 and verse 24. A wonderful promise to those who trust God.

Father God,
I ask that You watch over and protect these dear people who are fighting so hard to clean up the horrendous aftermath of these attacks. I pray that You provide them with all the tools necessary--physically,spiritually, mentally, emotionally--to cope with having to witness first-hand these atrocities. Father, I thank You for Your faithfulness to us in this time of need, and I ask that You give Your Divine guidance to our President and government to make wise decisions. I pray that You inspire grief counselors and clergy members to say whatever will quench the thirsting souls of the people who will be coming to them for help. Please protect those in the military who will be going to war for us to protect us against evil. Thank You,Father, for being here for us in our time of sorrow.
In Christ's name, amen.
