a student going abroad

i will be living in two different european countries for two semesters and with recent happenings, i am worried about being an american abroad.

i know there are more important things to be praying about now, but if any of you have any extra time, i would appreciate prayers. i am a student who will be leaving to study abroad in a few days. i was supposed to leave yesterday, but didn't because of the terrorist attacks. all of us going abroad have been warned about americans as terrorist targets, having been told not to speak english, to dress and act like the natives and not draw extra attention. in light of recent events i feel i don't have a real right to be worried about something so trivial, but i am scared nonetheless. i was nervous before, but now i am scared about taking a plane over there, living there as an american not knowing the language yet, and being away from family and friends in america as this all unfolds. i also ask for prayers for my family who will all be traveling by plane within the next week, that they stay safe. any prayers or thoughts would be amazing. thank you.
