Hope in this time of grief.

Please be aware that in this time of grief we must hold on to the fact the Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and he will show us the way.

Psalm 25 says:
No one who trusts in you will ever be disgraced, but disgrace comes to those who try to deceive others. Show me the path where I should walk, O Lord; point out the right road for me to follow. (verse 15) My eyes are always looking to the Lord for help, for he alone can rescue me from the traps of my enemies...See how many enemies I have, and how viciously they hate me! Protect me! Rescue my life from them! Do not let me be disgraced, for I trust in you. May integrity and honesty protect me, for I put my hope in you.

We must remember to stay clear of the hatred that is so easy to turn to and remember that God sent his son Jesus to die for our sins. This means that he died for your sins, as well as terrorist's sins. I know this is hard to grasp, and I'm having a hard time understanding it, but please keep strong in all of this and remember that God loves you, and the terrorists.

	dbard51 9/13/2001 10:02	GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL...HE HASN'T MOVED! I've already run for dear life straight to the arms of God. So why would I run away now when you say,"Run to the mountains; the evil bows are bent, the wicked arrows aimed to shoot under cover of darkness at every heart open to God. The bottom's dropped out of the country (WOW!); good people don't have a chance"? BUT God hasn't moved to the mountains! His holy address hasn't changed! He's in charge, as always, His eyes taking everything in, His eyelids unblinking, examining Adam's unruly brood inside and out,not missing a thing! He tests the good and the bad alike; if anyone cheats, God's outraged. Fail the test and you're out, out in a hail of firestones, Drinking from a canteen filled with hot desert wind. God's business is putting things right; He loves getting the lines straight. Setting us straight. Once we're standing tall, we can look Him straight in the eye.
