Returning Home!

The tragedy in New York really put things into perspective for me. It came as a harsh reminder that I could die at any time, and when I do, I want to know that I am going to the best place.

It's been a very long time since I've had a relationship with God. Today's events in New York really got me thinking about how we could go at any time. Those people were all going about their normal business, and a lot of them are gone now. And that's how it could go for anyone. So that's when I realized that when the day comes that I do die, I want to go to heaven and be with God. I prayed to God asking his forgiveness for my sins and asked Jesus back into my heart.
I'm very excited about it, but I know that it will be hard to get back into. So that's where I'm going to need some help. Could you pray for me to stay committed to God, and that I'll find a good church to go to?

I ask that you bless her in many ways, and help her to find a Church that is for her. Amen. Trista, I recommend the Roman Catholic Church and the United Methodist Church. May God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit bless you on your journey.

	vries 9/20/2001 14:28	Trista, don't get discouraged if you fall. We all do. I have been committed to God for 17 years and I have fallen quite a bit. He is always there to pick me up. And he will be there for you to. Find a church were you are comfortable and try to get involved in different commitees, slowly. You don't want to get overwhelmed. Ask and he will guide you. God will not give you anymore than you can handle. Remember he loves you very much.
