Prayer Circles

Lord, the effects of this tragedy will be felt for many years to come. In the here and now, please bring comfort to the families and friends of the victims. I lift up our friends at Neighbourhood 99 who have been affected by this atrocity, and ask for Your comfort and peace to be present in their lives. Please bring closure to this tragedy for those who have lost loved ones, and hope for those who are still alive. In Jesus name I pray these things. Amen.

Lord please help and support all the people affected by this terribly tragedy. Help and comfort the living so they will be able to heal, and take the dead to you. Lord my words are not enough, but you know what´s in my hart. Amen

To our Father which art in heaven, please watch out for everyone that was affected by this terrible tragedy, watch out for the people that have lost their loved ones and take care of them. Help them heal dear lord. Help them be strong enough so they can get through this.

Dear Lord I fall to my knees in prayer with a leaden heart and tearful eyes.. I selfishly ask that you hold the millions of people from harm's way and that you give us understanding and strength to withstand the anger and fear that surrounds us at this time. Keep our children and loved ones safe from further danger Lord, help our wounded heal both physically and mentally. Help us as you would a child to make the right decisions that will lead us from fear into peace. For those who have passed over into your light, welcome them over into a new existance filled with peace and happiness.. These things I pray for your name Jesus.

In memory of all those who have perished 9/11/01; the passengers and pilots on the USAir and AA flights, the workers in the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, and all the innocent bystanders. Our prayers go out to the friends and family of the deceased.

Dear God, you have brought to my mind the U.S President, Mr. Bush, and his administration. I do not envy them and the position they are in. Lord, you give wisdom to Godly leaders, and President Bush has proclaimed his faith in You. I ask for your wisdom for him and for his administration during this difficult time. Their response will impact the world. Give them patience, clear-headedness and pure motives. I ask that you move in the White House now, bringing Your peace that passes all understanding. Father, the only one who can positively influence this situation is You. Please, Lord, let your will be done and your presence be known.

Bring comfort to those who mourn now, Lord, and closure to those who are left wondering about friends and loved ones. I ask for peaceful sleep for those who have been affected by this tragedy. Give us all strength to face a new day. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I come to you today to ask you to watch over those who have lost their loved ones. Please give them the strength to get through this tragedy, and comfort them in knowing that those they lost now join you in eternal peace. In Jesus' name, Amen.
