Allahumma,

Please treat mercifully those killed and injured today and guide their families. Please do not let us be tested by tyrants.

Amin.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficient, the Merciful,

May the hatred of those who coordinated the attacks not spread to the general populace; may the victims and the victims' families find peace; may innocent people not be accused; may those guilty be brought to justice; may this horrific incident soon be put to rest.

Ameen.

Bism-Allah arrah-mani arrah-heem!

Allah protect us and our families that we may not carry the punishment for those who hurt others. Please pray that we not be made victims twice...first by the terrorists, and second from our neighbors who may take their rage out on us. Help us to find answers and guide us all to a safe place in your name.

Al-hum-dul-Allah!

May HE WHO WATCHES US ALL grant peace and protection to all who truly follow in his path be they Christian, Jew,Muslim or any other religion. And may we as American live up to our promise of religious tolerance and not follow in the path of the religious zealots who have twisted the sacred Koran.

May God protect our Muslim brothers and bring enlightenment to those who are ignorant about the religion

Please God, let love conquer the hate which prompted this tragic and ghastly act. Protect the innocents of all faiths, and may we all stand together as brothers and sisters. Let us remember that this attack was led by a tiny and fanatical group having no resemblence to the vast majority of Muslim people. We've seen what hate can do. Give us the wisdom to overcome our prejudices and care for one another. I especially pray for the suffering Afghan people, who don't deserve our wrath, but deserve our love and compassion.

Dear Jesus, Please protect our Muslim brothers and sisters who are innocent of the hateful act I witnessed in New York. We, Christians, have no right to judge others after our own violent history towards others. Let us turn away from prejudice and hate as You asked us to. Amen.

May all of the innocent America Muslims be sheltered from the prejudices and hardships born of misdirected hatred and ignorance. May all beings be free from suffering.

While I don't particularly follow Islamic religious beliefs, I do respect them and I respect the right of Muslims (and anyone) to worship what s/he wants. That's what America is all about. And I am an African-American. I send my positive thoughts, prayers and good wishes your way. I have several Muslim friends, and I fear for their safety in my Brooklyn neighborhood as well. I hope that other non-Muslim Americans will see that directing hatred on this religious group is just as savage and hateful as the destruction we all painfully witnessed on Tuesday.

I send the Muslim community my prayers that God protect and keep you all safe in this time against those who are misguided, ignorant, hatefull etc..

Please protect all Loving people from Hate and ignorance. We must recognize you in all people, for we are all Divine and created in Love. At this time please protect especially those of Islamic faith who act out of Love, not Hate. Spread your protective Light around them and heal us all.

I pray that all people may know peace, and be kept safe. May all people of the world attain enlightenment, and learn to live as one. I pray that all people will not judge our Muslim brothers and sisters, nor wish them harm. Keep them safe, and may all people walk in the light.

Heavenly Father, please bless and protect our American Muslim brothers & sisters from any device that might be brought against them in hate. In this time of great trial, bring enlightment to those who hide behind the evils of ignorance and racism. Let this be a time when those that you love of all religions and all nationalities may join together to combat hatred with love. Amen

My appeal is to the hearts and minds of all Americans and men and women of good will the world over. Norine has shown us the power of pain and grief. We turn to hatred in the mistaken belief that it will lessen the pain. Resist this temptation. Learn to fear not the shadows and terrors of the world but the fear of shadows which multiplies their power many fold. Know that when you start to use phrases like "you people" and "your kind" you have been blinded by hate. Open your eyes and see people for what they are. Invariably you will find they are your brothers and sisters.

My prayer is to all humans of integrity and honor to stand together, no matter the religion / lack of religion / ethnic background. Reach out -- we are ALL individuals. This is the thing that the terrorists have forgotten. This is the thing that those who now hate all Arabs or Moslems or (choose your blank different) have forgotten.

This is a terrible, terrible time. Let us not compound it. Rather, we needs must learn how the power of hate can twist minds, so as to defeat it.

Thanks to the Web, I have made friends with many Muslims, and they are some of the nicest people I have ever met.

I believe an attack on American Muslims is certainly an attack on the American people, and that Muslims should be free to practice their faith in the US, in accordance with the law.

Let this be a promise that I shall not ever judge any fellow human being before getting to know and understand them.

May the Powers That Be (God, Goddess, Jehovah, Allah -- whatever you want to call it) watch over us and protect us all.

May we find the strength and courage to stand up to those who demonize and hate the many because of the atrocities of a few.

And may our thoughts, acts and speech bring healing and reduce suffering for all sentient beings without exception.

I neither am Muslim, though one of my closest friends is, and I fear for his and all Muslims in America's safety. Unfortunately there is a minority in this country of people who turn their anger into hatred. I will pray for them to find love in their hearts, and will pray for all the Muslims and Middle-easterners that they will make it through this tough time safe. As someone who believes God gave me love to give to the world, I can only say I love you all.

Dear Lord, please lead us with your divine light through this terrible time. I pray for the innocent Muslim-Amerians, that they may be safe from harm. I fear that 'violence begets violence'...please let it end. I pray for Norine, that she may see that hatred makes the heart turn black. I pray for the families of the victims and rescuers who were killed in this senseless act. May we all come together as true Americans regardless of class, creed, and color. Amen

Dear Divine, please protect innocent people from the senseless hate and ignorance that abounds during times of crisis. American Muslims and those of Middle Eastern decent are in particular need of your care right now. Please keep them safe.

My prayer is that all people may know comfort, peace, courage and strength. I pray also for the protection of my Muslim sisters and brothers that they may be shielded from bigotry and hatred.
