I pray that peace can be restored, and understanding and acceptance can be known between different nations and religions. I pray that victims, families, firefighters, police, investigators, government officials can find courage, wisdom and peace to do the highest good, seek comfort and find solice. Peace be with all.

I pray for all the family and friends affected by this tragedy, and especially for those in this horrific incident. This is not only troubling to those involved, but for everyone who is alive today. Everyone says "Whoever was alive during the World Wars or in Vietnam, it changed their life." I'm here to say that this is this generation's "Vietnam" or "World War". This is so tragic and unimaginable. I again pray for everyone involved in this. I pray that justice will be done to the people who created this disaster. I also pray for the firefighters, police officers, government officials, etc, who have to clean this up and watch all too closely to everything that has happened. I pray for peace in our nation during this time of sorrow.

I work at the NYSE and today I saw something that I've been trying to erase from my mind. As deeply as I was affected, covered in dust, breathing in God know's what...scared and confused, wanting only to go home, I can tell you that the devastation that what caused today was other worldly. So many people have been hurt here today... I saw people who were so scared...there were several moments that I almost lost it... I am so grateful that we have a Father who cares for us and loves us, because without that knowledge, I could look at today and see a world full of darkness... a world filled with hate, and bereft of compassion. What happened today will be burnt into my memories, scorched into my thoughts... I pray for all those families that lost loved ones, I pray for all my friends that worked there, I pray for all of the people who are helping and putting there lives at risk to help others. It was horrible, and without my belief that there is a God, who does not punish us, or reek havoc, or in anyway tries to harm us, I would be lost today. I thank God for His grace, His love, and His mercy, and I pray that the families that have lost so much find solace in His love.

I became religious today. My heart was full of longing for something to believe in. I am not sure what it is, but I found some comfort in a rosary I had put away long ago. I pray for this comfort to all those that are suffering from this monstrous breach of trust in human conscience.

My heart breaks for so many it is almost unimaginable. I never thought I would see in my lifetime such a malicious, disgusting act of hate. The awesome reality of it though is that I have never seen our country more unified. I thank God for the outpouring of love that I have seen. Our faith will bring us together as a notion and we will be more as one than we have ever seen. I pray for the families who have lost loved ones, who are uncertain of their families wherebouts, the firefighters, the policeman, the E.M.T.s, the F.B.I., the government and most of all our AMAZING nation full of caring, selfless, wonderful human beings. I know that we will prevail with a stronger faith than before. God Bless.

Our Father Who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.Thy Will be done,
on Earth as It is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory,
Forever and ever.

What has happened is by far the most devastating thing I have ever witnessed. I can only pray for the so amny who are affected by this, the people who lost thier lives for something so senseless to me. All the people of service who risked and lost thier lives to help those trapped inside the buildings. I don't know any of them, but my heart cries for them. I pray that the families who have lost sons, daughters, mothers, and fathers, and so on, will be able to come to have peace in thier hearts. I pray for our country, may we be stronger and come out of this TOGETHER! God Bless the U.S.A. Amen.

These current events have caused many to question their faith in God, for "how could He allow this to happen?".My prayer is not for thosse who hav died and the speedy recovery of thos rescued, but for the people, who may have turned their back on Our Lord in light of these disasters. May all those people be quickly returned to his love and belief in him. We cannot have all the answerss and must lift our hearts to him in an understanding that all these happenings were for a purpose. We may not know or fathom the reasons why, but must surrender all these feelings to Our Lord Jesus for comfort. He understands our questions and will answer us through our continued prayers to the Holy Spirit. Jesus will help us through this. God does bless Aamerica!

We can look today at those who are being mislead, taught to hate or we can look at what people of true faith are teaching. Because God and what God truly is, is something very hard for us to truly comprehend, we have to find ways to understand what God is and isn't. For a Muslim these are the divine names of God which describe God by these attributes. We can understand these attributes and come to understand God better because we can recognise these attributes in small measure in ourselves. One of my teachers tells about God the Just, Al 'Adl, with these words from his book The Most Beautiful Names: “His is the absolute justice. Justice is the opposite of tyranny. Tyranny causes pain, destruction and disturbance. Justice secures peace, balance, order, and harmony. Allah the Just is the enemy of tyrants; He hates those who support tyrants and their friends, sympathizers and acqaintances. In Islam, tyranny in any form or shape is unlawful......Both good and bad are necessary. Allah shows us one with the other, the right against the wrong, and shows us the consequences of each…. Each according to his lot may find salvation in misery and sickness or damnation in riches. Allah knows what is best for His creation….Perhaps the mystery of the Justice of Allah will be revealed to you, and you will be happy with both the joy and pain coming from the Beloved.”
