troubled teen needs your prayers

Unfortunatly, so many of today's youth become sidetracked by the world's distractions. They are impulsive and make poor choices for themslves. Ray is one such teen. He is trying hard to overcome the distractions and temptations of his environment.

Heavenly Father, you are our strength. We feel your presence and unconditional love. I pray that you will send that love to Ray, that he may feel your presence as you guide him towards making better choices for himself. He needs to feel better about himself. Help him to find the good things within so that he can love himself and be selfconfident of keeping a positive focus, and of his abilities and his future. I pray that Ray feels the love of his family and friends during this difficult time. We welcome prayers from everyone, especially those who understand how dificult it is to grow up with learning disabilities, poor self esteem and feelings of selfdoubt.

His family and friends continue to be in prayer for him. They love and support him as best as they know how. I pray daily that he is able to feel the love that surrounds him, so that it may give him strength to conquer and survive. He has made serious mistakes, but I know he is capable, with your guidance, of owning his problems and working hard to overcome them. In your holy name I pray for Ray.

Help him to identify those who care and support him in his daily struggle. You were with him and his family yeaterday as he faced a new difficult experience. A necessary experience where he must learn to be accountable to his bad choices and behaviors. This is a lost teen who requires a complete turn around to be the best he can be dear Lord. Surround him with your love and hope for a better future. Help Ray to find focus and direction that is positive. In your loving name I pray for Ray and his family .

	hopefloats1 11/1/2001 00:03	Dearest Heavenly Father: This young man's grandfather lay in his deathbed. He had an opportunity to have closure with Ray in his own way. I pray that now that his frandfather is unable to respond to any of us, that Ray can find the courage and strength to go to be with his grandfather and to support his family as they prepare for Bob to go to his place in heaven. Those who have gone before him are waiting to welcome him to that peaceful, pain free place in heaven beside you Lord. I pray in desperation to you Lord, that you help guide my son Ray and keep him safe. Right now he is angry with those who love him and have supported him the most. I don't think that Ray fully recognizes that he has caused the problems he finds himself in. Assist Ray to recognize that his family continues to be there for him, but he must make the efforts needed to turn himself around. Others wishing things for him don't make it happen. Send your strongest, and wisest of angles to help him see through to the right paths to take. Ray does have so much talent and will have much to offer the world when he finds his way. Please shine the light bright and send the message to him loud and clear. Thank you Lord for standing by me and helping us to know how to stand firm and still give love. In you beloved name, I ask for your goodness to surround Ray.

Thank You for giving us hope and blessings when feel there are no more reasons to smile. Thank You for all that You are in our lives!
