Hi my name is amanda and this is actually a funny story. i received an email from a friend and it said to go to google and google in 'amanda needs' as a joke and than something funny will come up. Well when i did it this website came up with your story. It's funny cuz i just got out of an abusive relationship myself. more emotional than physical, im not sure what yours is. I'm only 21 so this was kinda shocking but when it got physical i left right away. But i hope that u can find the courage to leave too. You really need to rely on friends and family or just people in your church(u are obviously a religous person). Just remember that you are never alone and that there is always someone to talk to.

My special prayer for you is that you find courage to do what's right for your kids. Pray that God will either change your mind or your 'partner's mind. A few years ago this was the case for me. My husband showed signs of verbal abuse. I prayed for one of us to change. He changed and drastically. It took time and sacrifices. But we are together today and stronger for it.
