Prayer for a gift of a child

Please help us pray to conceive and to have a healthy and happy pregnancy

Please help pray that God will hear and grant our fervent prayer for a gift of a child. We got married last December 16, 2001 and was not able to conceive immediately. I was diagnosed to be annovulatory (failded to achieve ovulation)and undergo series of ultrasounds to monitor ovulation with medical help. After a month i conceived but had an early miscarriage at 6 weeks. I believed that what happened to us is God will and we did not questioned Him why it happened to us. We believed in His powerful works and also know that medical help will not do wonders if He does not permit. So, we are asking for your help to please pray for us to realize our lifelong dream of becoming parents. We cannot promise anything except that we will try our very best to be a good parents to the souls our good Lord will entrust to us.

God you have created us to bear children and raise them up the best we know how, with your guidance. I ask that you would be the grace that opens this woman's ovaries and allows her to bring forth the child you would call into existence for the purpose you have prepared for it. I thank you for this couple's trust in you and acceptance of your will for their lives, and I also add my faith to theirs. It is you who gives us the desires of our hearts, and it is you who satisfies us with good things. It is your grace that is sufficient for all of our needs. And your timing is perfect timing. Amen.
