Prayer Circles

Heavenly father, I pray that You remove the burden of grief that Sally is feeling for her sister and replace it with rejoicing that her sister is Home with You. Open her heart and let her feel Your presence. Free her to talk openly with this caring daughter so that the pain they share over this loss may be replaced with the beautiful memories of the earthly time You gave them. Let Sally's anguish and emptiness be replaced with the knowledge that someday we will all be reunited in Your presence. What a glorious day that will be! Bless this daughter and answer her prayers for her mother. Let her be an instrument for healing. In Your name, I ask these things.

I lost my Father 2 years ago after having taken care of him and my mother for five years (Mom is still with us, but has advancing Alzheimer's). There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of him and wonder "...what if..." My sustaining grace is the knowledge that my Father is home with God whole and healthy again and that someday soon I will see him again. The pain is still there, but it is easier now than the day I watched him take his last breath. I still cry many tears, but talking openly about his death has helped me through the tough times and when things are really bad...I remember him and the wonderful father he was (not perfect, but wonderful all the same). I hope your mother will open up to you or her friends and let go of the pain she has inside. I was moved to check my daughter's site tonight and when I checked in on my friend Faith's Fire, I saw your prayer and knew that God had made it impossible for me to sleep until I prayed for you. He is so wonderful and inspite of the turmoil in my life, He is always their letting me feel His presence somehow. God bless you. I will continue to pray for your mother.

Father,
Please help Sally in her time of grief, and let her rest peacefully at night with the knowledge that her sister is with You in Heaven, and that she will never hurt again. :) Give her the strength and comfort she needs to deal with her heartache and open herself up to You and friends and family who can help her get through her grief.

Thank you so much for your prayer for my husband. :) I will most definately pray for you and yours, because I know firsthand how much of a struggle it is to deal with a non-believing spouse. It's an emotional and spiritual rollercoaster and difficult to talk about to someone who hasn't been in that situation. Lord, continue to bless Loikate and her mother. Bring this family closure over the loss of their loved one. Let them be a comfort to one another.

Heavenly Father, continue to shine Your light in the lives of Sally and her daughter. Ease the pain of Sally's loss and let her heart be filled with memories of happier times spent together with her sister. Let mother and daughter close any gaps between them and become instruments of comfort to one another. Amen.

Lord, I feel you here in this place. I pray, again, for my mother. She is struggling so. Please show her a path that is pleasing to You. Please give her comfort as she grieves, but let her know that her sister is with You now. May she talk to us more about her pain. Lord thank you for bringing others to this site, it is good to know we are not alone.Amen.

I pray that you send comfort and peace to Lori's mom, and let her gain comfort in the knowledge that her sister isn't dead at all, but alive in another form, with You. :) She needs you now more than ever, and I pray that You send her whatever tools necessary to cope with this sad loss. Ease her pain, Lord. Thank You so much for leading me to this prayer, and allowing me the joy of knowing I helped someone! :)
