MY DAUGHTER IS HAVING PROBLEMS AN WANTS TO SWITCH SCHOOLS AN I AM SCARED FOR HER AS THE SCHOOL SHE WANTS TO GO TO I DON'T THINK WOULD BE VERY GOOD.THATS NOT SAYING THIS SCHOOL DOESN'T HAVE ITS PROBLEMS~~BUT THE OTHER ONE IS IN A LARGER TOWN.WE HAVE TO MAKE A DECISION ON WHETHER TO LET HER GO OR NOT AN IT IS NOT EASY.PLEASE PRAY FOR HER TOO~THANKS.

Dear Erin,
You will be okay because you have so many who love you. I was severely depressed throughout high school and I had to hit rock bottom before I finally saw the light. It turns out I had a chemical imbalance in the brain so medication was ncessary in my case. But I have come a long way and I do not regret anything because I am so strong from my experiences and happy to be alive! You can get through depression by believing in yourself and your faith! God bless you Erin and if you ever need someone to talk to, I am here!

Honey, I'm a junior now too, and I know how you feel. I also had a tough year last year, as did many of my friends. What has helped me is being with close friends, and at the same time learning to feel more independent from those around me. I had to realize that the only person who could make me happy was myself, and I had to learn to stop feeling so easily hurt by those around me. I realize that this is a very difficult thing to do, and it's not always an option for everyone, but it really helped me to break away from the control of others. I realized that I was the only one who should affect me. At the same time, however, I think it's still important to turn to others when you need help, as long as those people don't also hurt you. It's also important to look to God. Good luck, ma chere!

Oh hun, your not being selfish at all. I'm 15 yrs old and I too have been going threw a very hard time for a yr now. My parents are fighting I had to move and then the fact that I hate myself. I have a eating disorder I have had it for a yr now. It's very though I got very sick and I'm getting better now but it's so hard and i cry everynight. Dear Erin, It wasn't so long ago I was your age. I also suffer from depression ans anxiety, which thankfully with meds and behavior modification I have under control. But this is a condition that you will never be able to let your guard down on. Especially in the teenage years. I've learned to live in the moment,( learned the hard way!) I used to" what if?" myself constantly, and would've could've should've was my self dialog.Making mistakes is okay as long as you learn fron them...and isn't that what life is all about? We never stop learning. Believe in yourself, and have a dream and goals...something to work towards and look forward to. Please do not ever think you are selfish when seeking prayer. You are doing exactly what The Lord wants you to do. I too suffered depression and anxiety as a young girl[I am 45 now]. My daughter suffers from them as well. Medication, prayer, and love also has helped us both. Hang in there and always remember God and your sisters and brothers in Christ love you.

Heavenly Father,
I pray before you thankful for your mercies and incessant love. Lord, please build a hedge around this young woman and all of us who suffer from this menacing distraction from your love. Help us to remember that we are to love you and one another and to perpetuate your goodness, love, and guidance. Dear Father, give her courage, strength, and wisdom. Lead her to positive, encouraging, loving, and heaven inspired people, music, employment, recreation, doctors, teachers, neighbors, and friends all the days of her life. Holy Spirit, always guide her, please, in the pursuit of happiness through Jesus. In Your Precious Name, Jesus, I humbly submit this prayer. AMEN.

Erin please dont feel like your being selfish. Have God confidence if nothing else I to fall into depression from time to time and I have learned to have God confidence when I have little or no confidence in myself. God please guide Erin as I know you always do help her to reach to you when she is feeling down or afraid. Help her to know that you are always with her holding her hand in life you walk mong all of your children I pray for a great year for Erin oh Lord I pray Amen.

Erin A Paster at my church once told me if I had no confidence in myself to have God confidence then I would have it all he was right Good luck

YOu are not that only one to make this mistake. ANd god loves you and knows what you need. He will be there for you and I hope that you will cling to him in this time of need. Good luck in school. I pray that you wil not have 1/2 the problems that you think that you might have. JML
