My beautiful 18 year old daughter who can not stop drinking.

I need prayers and help for my daughter and our family to help our 18 year old daughter overcome her drinking problem.

Amy was a active, bright student in her Freshman year of high school. Then everything seemed to change fast. She dropped out of drill team, volleyball, basketball,failing in math. Girls were fighting with her. One day at age 16 she was curled like a baby in her bed crying,"I can't go back to that hell hole." At counseling we found Amy started drinking to have the courage to go to school and face everyday. She had panic attacks which became worse. Medication has helped but Amy can not seem to stop the drinking. Amy has been through rehab, AA meetings, counseling. Last night at 3A.M. we received a call from the police. Amy had been picked up for her second DUI and third MIP. I pray everyday for her. It seems to consume my whole life, praying for her. Please help us.

Dear Gracious One, please infuse these parents with the strength and wisdom they need to help their daughter , who is feeling so lost. May they find courage. Please help Amy to see your light as it shines deep within her heart.May that light shine ever brighter with each passing day, that she may become strong enough to take control over her own life, that she may see herself as the Angel that she truly is. Send her peace, and love. In your name, I pray these things.
