I was going to another prayer circle when I came accross yours. I tried to set one up the other day on this same subject, but God didn't want me to He wanted you to do it.

Oh Lord I pray for this strong lady, may You bless her and lift her up as a child of yours. Lord for all who are in an abuseive home life help them to gaine the courage to become strong so that they change their life.Convict the Lord that they may see that You do not want them living like this that this is not have You want Your children to live.

Heavenly Father i ask that you send the gift of the comforter to all these persons and that your grace be upon them, may they be safe in the dark times and come to understand with you all is possible. Please pray for me and my child. I am in an abusive marriage. We've been married for only a few months and my husband lashes out at me whenever he wants. He is sexually, physically and verbally abusive. He's always accusing me of having extra marital affairs when I'm not. I want to get out but am so afraid because of my child. Although he's is not my child's father, he's been good to my child. But now I am afraid because if he can treat me the way he does how will he treat my child if my child gets him upset. I ask that you all pray for me that God will supply me with money so that my child and I could go and get our own place. I'm also afraid to leave because my husband is the type of man that will try to find me and he's not afraid to go to jail. I hate living there. I hate being around him, especially when he gets in those moods. Alot of times I am walking on egg shells in my own home. PLEASE PRAY FOR ME AND MY CHILD FOR A WAY OUT.

PLEASE PRAY FOR ME I HAVE BEEN ABUSING MY WIFE FOR 14 YEARS. SHE HAS FINALLY ASKED ME FOR A DIVORCE FOR CHRISTMAS 2000. I HAVE BEEN GOING THROUG COUNSELING SINCE JANUARY 2001 AND HAVE BEEN ON MEDICATION SINCE. THERE HAS BEEN ANY VIOLANCE SINCE 2 YEARS AGO BUT HAS BEEN A LOT OF EMOTIONALY ABUSE. I HAVE BEEN PRAYING AND WORKING ON MY SELF AND HAVE FINALLY RELIZE WAHT I HAVE DONE. WE ARE WORKING ON GETTING ARE BILLS ALL PAYED AND SELLING THE HOUSE. I NEED LOTS OF PRAYERS TO KEEP ON GOING FOR I WISH I COULD GO BACK IN TIME TO CHANGE MY WIFES SCARES BUT CAN ONLY PRAY THE HER HEARTH WILL HEAL AND FORGIVNESS WILL COME INTO HER. for the gentleman that had abused his wife for 14 years. I wish to say God bless you and Jesus said He would put your sins into the sea of forgetfulness. Satan would continuosly brow beat you to believe you have not been delivered and that your wife will never forgive you. Satan wishes to destroy you and everything that belongs to you. Walk in the spirit that you have accepted the Lord, that He is the Almighty that He will bring peace to you and your home, that you are delivered in the name of Jesus, when you get angry lock yourself in a room and don't come out until Jesus tells you to, when you doubt yourself pray and call on the Lord, continuosly praise Him on the completeness of your family. Even when things look dark, even if your wife still walks she too will realize your love for her and one day things will be as you wish. Don't look on the outside (carnal things) and remember even though God provides rain He also supplies sunshine as well. Lord bless this gentleman in the name of Jesus Christ. I too was an abused wife, emotionally and physically as well as sexually. Lord you were able to give me peace you were able to renew my spirit as well as let me believe in true love again. Do this for my brother hold his marriage together in your name I pray. Lord everyone believes that running away will solve all issues, help his wife and him to run to you the more. You can salvage the broken you can mend all wounds you can restore you can rebuild. Lord the foundation is you God I ask you to work a miracle on this couples behalf in the Name of Jesus, give them expedient joy, in your Holy Name. Amen

Would it be wrong in the eyes of God for me to leave my husband because he is physically abusive? Will God punish me or my kids for it? I know the Bible says that God doesn't honor divorce and the only way a person can get a divorce is if the other party commits adultery. Am I allowed to leave an abusive husband and not get punished for it by GOD? Please answer me Lord

dear lord I come to you in prayer. I open my heart and sit in the light . I pray dear lord that you touch the heart of those crippled by abuse and touch them with your wisdom that gives freedom to their heart from saddness. I pray they find your light and feel your strenth and shed the crud of pain freeing them to celebrate in this life. LOrd I pray for those so closed up that they can not see the dammage they are doing to another life.Show them lord the pain they inflict and the dammage done, free them lord also from there pian that there heart be open and your wisdom fill them that they may value life with all my heart

Georgie girl, From my personal experience I feel that God saved me from killing my ex-husband because of the abuse I had suffered at his hands for 3 1/2 years. God forgives all when we are saved, including the abuser if he or she comes to believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Light.

I also believe that God doesn't want His children hurt. It has taken me about 30 something years to figure this out or in other words more that half my life. My ex was Catholic and I had changed my church to be with him. Then he got to where he would beat me up during the week, go to confession, and then take communion on Sunday come back and beat me up again. To all who are Catholics, I do not believe you are that way it is just the way he was. As an example of Christian, he wasn't. I don't know if he has ever changed his ways or not but I pray he has.

My heart goes out to any woman who is suffering daily from domestic abuse. I lived for years with an abusive man and I could never quite explain the reasons. I know how abused women are frightened to stay and frightened to leave. I know how the fear stays with you forever. I know how you pray things will change and they never do. I know how you worry about your children. I know how you even start thinking it's your fault. Oh God, help all women who find themselves in this situation.

i have major depression, severe insomnia, fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome, etc. my husband is extremely verbally abusive and puts me down for having these conditions. i am seriously close to suicide. i have a 2 1/2 yr old daughter named Grace. i don't want to leave her. please pray for me. thank you.
