This prayer chain is for troubled Adolescents. It can involve teenagers who are suicidal, depressed, have an addiction problem, who self-injure, or anything that is a sign of being troubled.

I'm starting this prayer circle for my best friend, Rachael. She is almost 15, and she can't take her home life anymore, so she is running away to Connecticut to live with a 36 year old who she met on the net. I'm afraid that I'll never see her again, and that the 36 year old isn't as "nice" as he seems. What if he kills her? What if he kidnaps her? Though like these have been traveling through my mind for the past few days since she told me. I'm afraid to break her trust, and ruin the friendship, but I'm even more afraid what will happen if I don't. Please pray for me as I go through the agonising process of trying to make sense out of this, and pray for Rachael that she makes the right decision for this.

God I pray for Rachael Wright that your hand will be upon her during this journey into the unknown. I pray that you would be the hand that protects her from any harm or deceit, and that you will direct her steps toward safety and stability in her life. God, open the doors for her to come home to you, where all of her needs and desires will be satisfied with good things. Send those people to her, that will have the mercy to gently guide her toward getting help and toward getting her feet onto solid ground. I pray for her friend, that you would comfort her and help her trust you. If there is a church pastor whom she could trust to unload this secret, I pray you will gently guide her to this pastor, and help him/her to handle the matter gently and in your love. God I am trusting you to work all for the good. Amen.
