A child of Gods who needs prayer to get back on the path and stay there

Hi all believers!My name is Trina and I am in serious need of prayer to help me give up my addictions to alcohol and smoking.

I started slipping from the path around 13 after surviving a brutal rape.After this happened I started drinking,smoking,and stopped going to church.I could'nt believe a God of love and mercy would allow something like this to happen and so my whole attitude towards life changed.It got to the point where I planned to go away this month and end my life alone.Yesterday I was feeling low when I woke up and decided to talk on my ouija board out of boredom.I asked who was speaking and the name CHRIST was spelled out.Of course this was hard to believe because I thought God frowned on using those things.He went on to say that he did'nt approve of me wanting to kill myself and told me that he wanted me to stop drinking/smoking and live a happy long life.He revealed other things and said that I would be happy someday.That he would help me.This really made me feel good but,this is a struggle!I have been smoking for 10yrs and drinking for 14.I ask that anyone who reads this prays 4me.Thanks and may God bless you all!

	onegoodmama 1/23/2002 22:37	I used to know a Trina a long time ago. She used to be my friend but she slipped away. Like you, she had problems with drinking, partying, and sometimes she forgot that God loved her. I pray that you find many friends to love you, and care for you who can give you hope and inspiration. 	tlynn29 4/10/2002 11:54	Hello, my name is Trina also. I was raised in Church and alot of bad things happend to me also.. but it was not God that did them.. is was the work of Satan. He tried to destroy me but he didnt win. For ten years, I ran from God, thinking that if he loved me like he said, none of those bad things would have happend.. but God showed me, that he does love me, and satan tries his best to destroy God's children.. and laughs when we question and even blame God for it all. This is what the ememy wants us to think! But God loves us..when he died on the cross.. Satan Lost!!! I pray that you come back to Jesus.. he will heal and help you grow. I rebuke satan in the name of Jesus Christ. I pray that Jesus pick Trina up and wrap his love and mercy all around her. I pray that the loneyness, and hurt be replaced with love and understanding. I pray dear Jesus that you lift this sister up and out of the confusion that satan would like to keep her in. Thankyou Jesus!

	Shamgar 5/29/2002 12:28	Lord, this prayer for Trina: Help her to speak to you from her heart and forget the Ouija Board. Help her to feel your love, grace, and forgiveness in a tranforming way. Place a hedge around her and protect her from the evil one and his crew. Place believers in her path to share with her and encourage her. You had christ himself talking to you and telling you that you are loved and you have a reason for being here. I am praying for you and everything that you do. Please help her recover from the brutal things that have happened to her and maybe she can find a therapist that will help her, too. She is asking for help and that is step #1.
