God I pray for Rona, that you would help her to see that she only has power to change herself, and that she deserves to have joy in life, versus abusiveness. I pray you will help her see through your eyes how valuable she is, which does not include being abused, but only loved and valued, as a child of God. Help her see God that she is not helping him by aiding his unhealthy behavior. I pray you will direct her toward seeking support through a 12-step program or church-oriented group that will empower her to no longer enable unhealthy behavior in her husband, and free her to lead the abundant life you intended her to live. Amen. |
