My husband, a man in his mid 30's with ALS.

He was a roofer who made his living supporting 3 kids, with his muscles, until Lou gehrigs disease starting wasting his muscles.

My husband and I met when he was 16, I was 14. I pray, and hope you will too, that a cure can be found for neuromuscular disease. Howie needs a cure.
Our two little kids really don't understand. You take muscles for granted until you don't have them.
He is blonde, blue-eyed, and once was very muscled, well-defined. One of those tanned roofers you'd see. May he be restored to health and enjoy life fully!

	maryannej 2/4/2002 01:59	God, there are some things in this world so difficult to understand. How could Howie, once so strong and healthy, be taken by this terrible disease? Help us to trust in you. Heal Howie and hold him tenderly in your loving hands. Be with his children and family through this difficult time. Let him feel the love of so many who are praying for him.
