A Single Parent, with 1 daughter and an absentee/abusive ex husband struggling with anxiety attacks.

For single parents struggling with problems of finances & struggling with issues within themselves and with their children with no one to turn to, but putting faith in prayer.

I am a 30 year old mother who has one 9 year old and an absentee father since the child was 2, no child support is given, he threatens to take my daughter away and I have lost my trust/faith in men. I was abused verbally and physically and was cheated on during our marriage. He was my first marriage. Now I am in a relationship with a wonderful man who knows of the abuse and trys his best to gain my trust but there is always that little doubt. I am having alot of stress at work, making a bad career change (choice), fear of marriage failing, fear of the future with my future husband. Now the anxiety attacks have come about very strong on a daily basis. I have not had them since I was 18 when my mom tried to kill herself. Please give me strength to overcome them Lord and help others who suffer with them as well.

God I pray for Angel R that you would help her to release her pain from abuse onto your shoulders. Heal her pains, God, and replace it with your unconditonal love, so that she can have the space and energy to enjoy life abundantly and move beyond her old pain. I ask that you help her to trust you and lean on you in all her ways, so that she is not hurt by other people's actions anymore, and so that she knows deep in her soul that you always make a way and provision for every need. I trust your grace God to sustain us through every situation. Amen.
