Christian Students in School - Prayer Circles

Christian Students in School

I was to start a prayer circle for Christian Students in school.

I want Students to go to school, not worrying about what people will say if they wear a christian t-shirt, or read their bible in class. I am a student in a school. I don't fear what my peers think, but I know others who do. I want to go to school, seeing others standing up for the God they sing about, and say they believe in. I know I want alot, but believe me, I'm not the only one who wants this.

I am a College student and have found it's not only difficult to be a Christian regarding other students who don't seem to have any guidelines/values for their own lives, but some of my teachers have been way 'over-the-line' so to speak! You will find many students & teachers alike who embrace the world's philosophy, and sometimes you really have to stand alone(but yet are you really alone? God is with us not only in happy moments but also in times of adversity)Especially during class polls, discussions where your values come into question and you have the opportunity to be upfront about what you stand for...I will definately keep this in my prayers as it is a situation I deal with personally, and know first hand how it feels.Good for you for being so young and sure of yourself regarding your spiritual state of being!I'll close with one of my fav.'s-'I'd rather stand for something than fall for anything"...Persevere as your not alone in this:-)!Your sister in Christ*
