lonely,lost and feeling worthless

pray for me I have lost my faith in myself,I feel all alone...

I feel so guilty for asking for others to pray for me because I am really not as in need as others that have no home or no family, I just don't have anyone close to me that I can confide in. I was married for a whlie and told I was worthless and fat and a terrible person, after a while you start to believe that. I am now divorced but I still have a hard time accepting that I am a good person, I am in the medical field and I care for people every day in the hope that someday I will be able to make a difference and have the love that I so need and have never had. I'd give anything to just mean something to someone...
