God I pray for Robert Ervin that you would go with him to the dark place and shine your lovelight there, to replace the emptiness that is as nothing in your presence. God fill up this space with a love so enriching that he will no longer desire to fill it with drink or any "thing". Give him the desires of his heart and satisfy him with good things. Quicken his spirit to receive you and hold him tenderly when he feels he cannot hold on. Be the stronger force in his life. I know you to be the grace that is more than sufficent unto us and I pray you will feed Robert's soul now, so that he may have life more abundantly. I now place him in your hands and trust you to bring him out of this exile into a land of milk and honey. Amen. |
