I need wisdom to decide whether or not to divorce my spouse.

My spouse is a recovering addict with 5 years clean and sober. In the past 9 months he has returned to his "using" behaviors. I don't want to falsely accuse him, but I think he is lying to me about finances, where he goes, etc.

Please pray that I might have wisdom in making a decision about whether or not to divorce my husband. After a couple of really good years of marriage, my spouse has returned to his old "using" addict behaviors. He's hardly ever at home. He says he's working side jobs, but I never see the money. He's not being honest about how much money he's making, and I can't pay the bills with just my income. He moved out for a month, wanting his own place (and possibly another woman) and then decided that he had made a "mistake". Our marriage counselor says that I use my anger and fears about finances as a way to distance my spouse. While I want to "own" my part in our marital problems, I am starting to feel "crazy" again like when he was using. The pieces don't add up, but I would hate to think that I had falsely accused him. Please pray that I might have wisdom in clarifing this situation. I've been so out of touch with "God" that I don't think I even can hear him/her anymore. Thank-you.

Dear Lord,
I come to you in Jesus name on behalf of Jean. Lord I went through this and you helped me and me and my husband are still married. Lord I ask you in Jesus name to restore Jeans faith in you and for her to talk to you again in prayer. It's hard to go through trials without you in our lives. With you there is peace and comfort in our hearts and you give us the strengh to bear it. Watch over her and her husband and remind them that you have never left them and are waiting for them to invite you back in thier lives. For better or worse in your eyes Lord. Give her the wisdom that only you can give. Fill her heart with peace, joy and comfort in Jesus name. Amen

Jean here are a couple of books that could help..15 minutes alone with God for women by Emilie Barnes....15 minutes alone with God for men by Bob Barnes..Just like Jesus by Max Lucado..and Moments together for married couples by Dennis and Barbra rainy. I pray that this will help and continue to pray for your marriage. God bless you always.

lila1955,
Seek God! He doesn't lie and He loves you. He's gonna let you know what to do and when to do it, but He can't speak if you're not hearing. Guilt, more than anything else, can get in the way of hearing from God, but so can anything else that you revere more than God - this may even include your desire to do what's right in the eyes of someone you consider to be rightgeous. It's God (who knows you totally anyway) that you have to impress and no one else. God is true and He loves you. Seek Him and He'll let you know truly what you are to do.
I pray for you that the truth will be revealed in every regard!! :-)

Oh Merciful and Forgiving God use one of your servant to help jean f and her spouse. For Thou hath said "where two are joined in My Name, let no man put asunder". We are all sinners and come short of the Glory of God. Give Your servants the wisdom and knowledge that they may use it to share it with Jean f and her husband. I pray in Jesus Almighty Name, that Jesus love will over flow the heart and soul of both jean f and her husband. For all things are possible if asked in Your Name. Then both jean and her husband may come to know more of the blood of Jesus, and serve Thee and Glorify Your Name. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

Don't every think that God is not with you! If you have been together no matter the amount of time, please leave him. You can't trust him as he lies all the time. I'm very sorry to say this, but you are more important to yourself than worry about him. It will be a hard road to leave him, but in the end, you will find that you have a better life, less stress. I believe in the marriage vows, but if he has returned back to he's own ways, then he doesn't have you in his heart. Please put God back into your life. He's there for all of us. Take care, you are worth it! God Bless you. Amen.

Heavenly Father I pray for your wisdom upon Jean. Father though I have been divorced, I know the consequences this can lead to. Father as a sister in Christ, I pray that you will heal this marriage and bring peace to this home. Father I also pray for a hedge of protection around this family for the sactity of marriage to be brought back into their lives. Amen
