Young Man Discouraged

This discouraged young man has several goals and ambitions in life, but doesn't have the drive, motivation, and faith to see them through.

This young man is trying to find out who he is by rebelling against his family. He is so intent on proving to them that they don't know what's best for him. However, in the meantime he is destroying and wasting his life. He is using drugs and following the "friends" that he has found. His "friends" never had any goals or dreams for their life past childhood. But Garren, has so many of them and doesn't know where to turn for help. He wants to show the world that he can do everything by hmself. I keep telling him that he needs to go back to the church, but he tells me that I'm trying to be all holy and righteous. So I pray for him when I get the chance and send him inspiring passages and passalongs when I can. I am his sister.

Please fill us all with the knowledge of your live and right guidance. We know in our minds that your love is sufficient for all areas of our life. Bring this young man and us all closer to you so we may also know it in our hearts and see it in the circumstances around us.

	LyzEvans 10/11/2001 21:24	Lord, I pray for this young man. Let him realize that the adversity that exists in his life can be replaced with love and peace given only by you. Lord, place a Christian friend in his life that will encourage, motivate and inspire and help him. I ask this in Jesus' name, amen.
