Anxiety and Panic attacks, new onset

It is said that wherever 2 or more are gathered in prayer in the Lord's name, miracles will happen. I ask for a miracle now.

Please pray for Leigh R. She suffers from allergies and recently had a bad reaction to a food she ate and wound up in the hospital where her heart rate soared. By the Grace of God she survived. But this ordeal has left her filled with anxiety and panic over what to eat, not being able to breathe, choking, heart attack and even dying. Today she had her first panic attack. The treatment was only briefly effective. There is much ground for her to learn to overcome this. Please pray that the Lord shows mercy on her and gives her strength to overcome this returning crisis.

	oriegenhill 8/2/2001 11:04	It's been a couple of weeks since you posted your prayer request; does Leigh still need prayer support? In any event I will pray for her recovery. Here's a quote from Paul that may help her, from Philipians 4: 5-7: The Lord is near. Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made know to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds. Also this from Isaiah: "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous hand." (41:10) God bless!

	morganlq 10/6/2001 20:26	Lord please heal this woman, help her to keep her faith strong, send the Holy Spirit to her to help fight the fear and replace it with Peace, I pray this in Jesus Name...Amen

	rmwilliams 10/9/2001 15:00	Dear Kind Heavenly Father, I pray today for Leigh that You will give her strength and courage to fight this battle. Send her the peace that she once knew before all of this happened to her. I pray that she will lean on You and depend on You and Your Word and read Your Word each day to give her wisdom and guidance that she needs right now in her life. I pray that she will soon find that light at the end of the dark tunnel for You dear Lord are that light. In all these things I pray in Jesus name. Amen.

	laross00 7/17/2004 06:02	I do not know if this will be of any assitance at this late date, but if Leigh is still suffering from panic attacks, Xanax is a wonderful stopgap until her brain chemistry corrects itself
