A prayer for peace

This is simply a respectful reminder to take one moment and work for peace and tolerance by being that peace and that tolerance. In silence, there is no need for word or weapon. In this way, we can create a space for healing to come.

In silence the voice of the heart
can be heard. It is not the religious heart. It is not the heart bound by age, gender, race,
or nationality. It is neither the heart that dies along with the body nor the metaphorical heart where we feel love and sorrow. It is instead the heart of human conciousness that prays most for peace.

Please take the time if only for a moment to observe in silence, the sound of your own heart opening. There is so much healing to do. Where do we begin if not here? When if not now? Imagine just for a moment, in the middle of it all, if you could just stop and be still long enough to enjoy it. Please.
