Lost and looking for answers

On the trailing edge of a long, dark, depression, and confused about what to do next.

About two years ago, I ran into a string of events that threw me into a crippling depression.
Eventually, I got out of debt and Mom's basment.
The worst is over, I can now function enough to keep a good job, acceptable appartment, pay the bills and attend (limited) social functions. Slowly, things are becoming more acceptable
I havent become a total recluse,but there is nobody I feel I can bare my soul to. I want advice but there is noone to turn to.

My thoughts are scattered and I feel a growing emptiness inside me. When I look within, I find fear,confusion and distrust. Worse yet,complacency. (Its not really living, but at least it's not pain.)

I pray for guidance and healing for myself and others in my situation. May God clear our hearts, minds, and eyes so we can see the possibilites before us. Help us gain wisdom and strengh from our past troubles. May we not forget our past mistakes and but not be scarred by them. May we learn to forgive. May we all find peace and happiness.

	voyd2 7/19/2001 05:37	It seems like whenever I pray for help things get worse. The feeling of emptiness and despair seems to creep up on me whenever I try to reach God. I feel alone. I don't want to be alone.

	faiths_fire7 7/19/2001 12:45	Hey there! :) Thank you for having the courage enough to bare your heart like that! :) That's the first step in coming out of your depression--shaking off your pride and reaching out for help! I myself went through a string of events that tested my faith:encounters with gangs, being stalked, followed home, I had a weapon drawn on me by a guy that ended up being in the paper for raping a girl my age, heart problems, etc...I felt terrably alone and afraid, and it was only through turning to God that I was able to keep my sanity. Although I didn't realize it at the time, God was working miracles in me, and He is in you too! There's a bigger reason for all this (which I'm sure you know)even if you can't see it right now. I pray that God gives you the patience to wait for His answers to your prayers, and that you never give up on your faith!Peace and happiness!

	Ipray 7/20/2001 11:35	Dear MK, you have been through it & made it,theat means you have discovered strenght. Along with that look at what you have accomplished,the rest will will come also. I ask for the good LORD to heal you, & send you good friends. I think alot of women go through this & eventually find themselves. May the Lord bless you & guide you. Amen

I pray right now in the name of Jesus that this person be ministered to by your heavenly love. Jesus, he is seeking your face, and you know his heart dear Lord, please help him in all that he does to stay strong. All things that we bring on ourselves make us stay in bondage, but bless God, we can be free and delivered from evil because you died for us. I believe with him right now in your sweet name that he will seek your face earnestly, and that you will protect him from bondage, and thank you God for your sweet mercy. Show him what he needs to do and direct him in all his ways. Amen.

So you need not worry for the past. No fear feeling of lonelyness. Because Our Lord always with you. He won't leave you alone. Be faith on him. Surrender your broken heart in Him. He will guide you in proper way to the paradise. we are always praying for you in our prayers. We are a group of prayers waiting for pray for all for 24 Hrs.
