Dear Lord...Times are not so easy right now..There is a lot of stress in Michael's life. He is having a hard time with the fact that my ex-husband is back in the picture. He married me with three children. My children have suffered greatly by their natural father. It hurts my husband, to see them hurt. He has been at my side the entire time of watching my eldest daughter do drugs, and run away from home. He is there when my son struggles with terrible anger issues, and troubles with the police. He stands by me when I live with depression. He also has been clean, and sober for over 2 years now. I know it is a lot for him, and I hope he can endure the pain the way that I do as their mother...Lord have mercy on us all....Amen

Heavenly Father, cover this man in Your most holy blood and bring him peace. Let him feel secure in the knowledge that his wife and children do appreciate him and all that he has and continues to do for them. Fill him with pride for his accomplishment of remaining sober for two years...this is truly a blessing that came only from. You and I thank You for that. I pray that You remove any physical pain that this man suffers and restore his health. Lord, continue to guide him and give him strength as he tries to support his family in these difficult days. In Your name, Amen.

My sweet Lord..Please keep Michael, and Robert safe as they travel to his aunt, and uncles 50th wedding anniversary party. This is the only family he has left besides the kids, and myself. He is upset to leave me because of Jackie. Let him enjoy seeing his family. May you guide them on a safe trip.....

May he find his missing brother Bobby. He has not seen him in over 10 years. Please find a way of letting Michael know that he is alive, and doing well....

Thank you Jesus, for the safe trip that Michael, and Robert had to Kentucky. May they enjoy themselves with loving family memebers. May Michael feel good inside that he made the choice to give up work, and to travel during these trying times. May my son feel the love from his new family. I pray for Robert to understand that his step-father truly loves him, and to keep focused on recovery....Amen

Please Lord..I know it is rough on Michael. He has a lot to deal with. My children are important to him, and he loves them as if they his own. Robert, and him do not see eye to eye now. I need them to unite again..Amen

Father, bless Michael in this troubled time. Being a step-father is not an easy thing even when the waters are smooth. He has accepted a beautiful gift from you...give him the tools he will need to help Marilyn raise their children to be successful adults. Soften Robert's heart to his step-father and let him see the magnitude of what this man has willingly chosen to undertake...to help raise Marilyn's children as his own. While they might not always see eye to eye, let their hearts unite as one to bring stability and love to this family. Amen.

Father, give Michael the wisdom, the courage, and the words to help him with his role as a stepfather. It is a hard calling, and he needs your expertise. Father you are a awesome Father, give him the tools for those trying times, when conflict arise, let Robert open his heart to this man, that wants to be the best that he can be for the family. Amen.

Father continue to bless and guide Michael in these difficult days. Unite this family in the name of your love and bring them unity and peace. Amen.

Dear God,
I know that this new found relationship between my children, and their father is rough on him. I sense that it hurts him in a small way. He has been there for my children since 1993. He has loved my children as if they were his own. He has stuck with me through the troubles of Jaqueline.
We do not see eye to eye right now. Please just give me the strength to overcome this sad feeling I have for my marriage...Amen

Dear God,
Life is not the same between myself, and Michael. I know the stress of having my ex back in my children's life is hard for him. My children have to come first in my life. God...Please make him understand...Amen

Thank you for another day of peace. Amen

Father, I pray that You restore the unity between Marilyn and her husband. Take away any feelings of anger, loss, or abandonment he may be feeling. Let the love that brought Marilyn into his life surface through all of this turmoil and become a guiding force for his actions. Let hinm feel proud of the wonderful job he has done as a step father and take away any feelings of insecurity that he may be feeling. How wonderful that he could step in when the biological father chose to be absent. His love for his children will always be a positive force in their lives...even if unspoken, children know who their parents are...blood is not the deciding factor. Bless Michael, and give him peace. Mend the rift between husband and wife...let them feel the love that they share. Amen.

Dear Jesus,
You have blessed Marilyn with a man that would love and support her and her children with a love that is unconditional, especially because of the fact that he has stood by these children as though they are his own when they are having such trouble in life. Please restore the sense of security to this marriage, particularly on Michael's part. I know he must be feeling a little hurt or jealous in some small way over the rekindling of the relationship between the children and the natural father. Please open up the lines of communication between him and Marilyn, and also between himself and the kids. Please bring them all peaceful and tranquil hearts in the midst of this storm so that they can talk with one another without any angry feelings surfacing. Lord, you say that anything we ask for in Your name will be granted if only we believe. So all these things I pray in Jesus' name, amen.

Thank you again my prayer warriors..I think things are a little better, but I have to take one day at a time. Lord you brought Michael into my life for a reason....You do indeed have a plan...Guide me dear Jesus....Amen

Father, unify this marriage and restore it to its solid foundation. We accept the ups and downs, but we will not accept defeat. Your blessed this union in the beginning and I ask that You do so again. Rekindle the love and the need for one another in both the hearts of Michael and Marilyn. Amen.

God Bless Marahet, Faithsfire7, and Carfree....Your blessings are working one day at a time. Life is hard, because my ex-husband has popped back in my kid's life like a jack-in-the-box! This has Michael feeling left out, and isolated. My children need to ask their father why he was such a bad father for years. This will bring closure. Michael cannot see this. God please let Michael feel loved. When this happens, then maybe we will see eye to eye...Amen

Father,
Thank You for everything You are, and for all You've done in Marilyn's life. I pray for Michael, that he comes to realize that the children love him, and always will, no matter how often their birth father comes in and out of their lives. Let him realize that nothing could replace the love in the kids' hearts for him, because of all the years he was a father to them when their real dad was no where to be found. Open his eyes to these things, and protect his heart against any feelings of jealousy, bitterness, or resentment. Open the lines of communication between everybody so their feelings can be known without any misunderstandings. Help strengthen the bond between Marilyn and her husband at this time.

Lord, Please continue to guard Michael's heart against any negative emotions. Thank You and praise You, sweet Father, for Your gentle and loving guidance. I pray that God's love and peace is granted to this entire family, and that the lines of communication are opened between all family members so they can feel where one another is coming from. Father, touch Michael's heart and let him feel the love that is all around him. Help him understand that his children are not turning away from him, but trying to understand why their biological father was not there to do the job that Michael took on as an act of undeniable love. These are children seeking answers to the many questions that arise from abandonment...these are not children abadoning the father that has loved and cared for them for so many years. Let the love they feel for one another shine brightly. Ease any pain and confusion for both parent and child. Bless this man and his family. Amen.

Oh Lord you are working overtime for me!! Thank you for the small signs of patience that Michael is starting to have with my ex-husband. Keep Michael sober during these trying times. He is sober just about 3 years now!!!! God bless him for helping others that were in his same situation. He holds monthly AA meetings in my home with about 7 other men that come from all kinds of professional backgrounds. It is amazing how many lawyers, doctors, phone company workers, and others have this awful disease of alcoholism. May God keep them all sober...Amen

Father in heaven, please keep your wonders working in this relationship. Give Michael the wisdom to understand that these children need to have their father in their lives, but that they still love him as much as they ever did. Father, ease his unsure feelings and let your light shine upon him. Give him and Marilyn everlasting love and unity. Lord keep any temptations that Satan may bring his way, so that he will not fall; give him strength Lord. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
