Because I don't know the circumstances of what happened I will not advice you on what to do as far as making personal contact with the other person/persons. However, I would like to share some scriptures with you that I hope will encourage and help you.
First of all know that God wants you to talk to him about your problems.
Philippians 4:6 & 7 says, "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
Claim the promises in God's Word for yourself because they are for you.
Psalm 32:8 says, "I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye."
Also put your complete trust in Jesus.
Proverbs 3:5 & 6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
As for forgiving that person I know that God will help you to do that because we know that it is the will of God.
He said in Matthew 6:14, "For if we forgive men their trepasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:"
God will never ask us to do something that He doesn't help us to do as we decide to obey Him.
The first step toward forgiving is to make the choice to do so because it is what Jesus did for us and tells us to do for others.
It doesn't mean that you like, condone or will totally forget what has happened to you; but you can find inner peace and go on with your life as you do forgive in The Name Of Jesus. Neither does it mean that you have to put yourself in harms way to be abused or anything like that because the other person may not be ready or want to change for the better.
Just begin to confess to yourself that you forgive this person with the help of Almighty God. Ask Jesus to help you to truly forgive and trust Him that He will help and guide you. It may not come as quickly as you think but don't give up. When this problem comes to haunt you just confront it in your mind and verbally that you have forgiven the person of this thing in The Name Of Jesus and ask Jesus to give you strength and help you to renew your mind. Also pray for that person for The Lord to reach him/her in whatever way is necessary.
If the Lord wants you to go to this person He will let you know it and work things out for you.
But remember to "Wait upon the Lord" because He alone knows what is ahead. When He does make it clear as to what He wants you to do then just do it and don't delay.

Lord Jesus, I pray that You will lead and guide MLW in the path that You have chosen. Help this person to hear and know Your voice and to obey. Jesus I pray that You will manifest Your peace and forgiveness in this person even now.

My heart goes out to you. Because several months ago I went through the same thing. Pray to God first. Ask him to help you to have a forgiven heart. God will see you through this. I made it through and so will you.

I pray ta God will give you the wisdom,first,on how to manifest forgiveness toward your family member.Forgiving someone is always a wonderful opportunity to illistrate Gods forgivness and unconditional love for all of us "sinners". Focus on your ministry of serving the Lord, and pray, pray, pray for His guidance. My prayers are with you.

My heart goes out to you.I have had many heartaches in life my self.I know that God wants us to forgive our brothers so that we may be forgiven. If you pray about the situation and give it over to God completely he shall honor all your needs.If you have bad thoughts about the situation then pray right then, don't wait because it will only make you angry and you will miss your blessing. I pray that you will become strong as you learn that forgiving is what God wants us to do.I hope that i have helped you in more ways than one.
