She needs healing from two life threatening illnesses.

This prayer circle is being created to help bring healing to Joanna. She is a Christian and, yet, has difficulty with having prayed for so many years for healing and God has said no. Or, she believes that God says, not yet.

Joanna has been a good friend for 12 years. She has spent many months in hospital (15 separate hospitalizations) over the past 5 years; tried many treatments and has been seen by many doctors. Many medicines have been tried. Various invasive procedures have been done. I pray for her -- many of us do, but we wanted to post this, here, to get as many people as possible to pray for her. Sometimes, she is very discouraged. She often is ready to end her own life, rather than suffer any more pain. She feels, God is not there for her. Joanna is sure that these concurrent illnesses are a curse. Heredity plays a very strong role. Breast cancer, stomach cancer, heart attack, and mental illness have taken away many members of her family. Please post your prayers to this circle and help my friend deal with life, in a more positive, prayerful kind of way. Thanks to you all.

	jessie_girl 5/29/2002 21:24	Lord, I pray for Joanna that she will have the strength to go on each and everyday until she is totally healed. Not one but two life-threatening things have been brought upon her, and i know that you are with her each and every second in every day, even when she feel sthat you aren't. Please give her hope that she will make it through this, and in the end, show mercy on her and give her a chance to live life to the fullest that many of us take for granted. Give her family and friends hope and strength while they go through this tough time as well. Thank you Lord, in Jesus' name, Amen. And please pray for my brother, who has gotten involved in drugs and alcohol, but now is free. Pray for him to stay away from his temptations, he is only 16.
